Window scrolling artifacts in PDF XChange Viewer
I'm seeing some really annoying behavior in Tracker Software's PDF XChange Viewer (http://www.tracker-software.com/product/pdf-xchange-viewer) When I scroll the window in either direction, I get artifacts from the window frame as evidenced by this screenshot (http://www.rjlsystems.com/~barryc/temp/Screenshot.png) I've tried Foxit too, and it doesn't seem to do this. Does anyone

Artifacts in filled.contour+pdf
Dear all, I'm using R 2.12.0 on Windows 7 (32bits) I created a filled contour from the attached data using the following code: load('bug.RData') pdf('bug.pdf', width=14, height=7) filled.contour(o4$x, o4$y, o4$z, color=rainbow, xlim=c(4,18), ylim=c(0,35), zlim=c(14,36)) dev.off() If you look (I used acrobat reader 9.4) at the attached bug.pdf, you see an incomplete grid of

Artifacts in pdf() of image()
Dear r-helpers, I have two questions: (1) The following produces a pdf with artifacts. How do I prevent them? require(grDevices) imSize <- 200 lambda <- 10 theta <- 15 sigma <- 40 x <- 1:imSize x0 <- x / imSize -.5 freq = imSize/lambda # compute frequency from wavelength xf = x0 * freq * 2 * pi # convert X to radians: 0 -> ( 2*pi *

Artifacts in pdf() of image() (w/o comments)
Dear r-helpers, In my previous message there were comments in the code that may have made cutting and pasting awkward. Here it is w/o them. I have two questions: (1) The following produces a pdf with artifacts. How do I prevent them? require(grDevices) imSize <- 200 lambda <- 10 theta <- 15 sigma <- 40 x <- 1:imSize x0 <- x / imSize -.5 freq = imSize/lambda xf = x0 * freq *

Window Scrolling on OSX
I think this has been noted in previous posts by others, but I'm noticing it with post-version 1 builds of Darwine for OSX and I'm wondering if there's any way to fix it. The behavior is hard to describe but here goes: when using either Irfanview or Forte Agent, mouse activity in the Windows app causes the window to move downward on the desktop. Each click, the windows jumps

Data viewer window not drawn properly with Compiz (PR#14099)
Full_Name: Ulrich Keller Version: 2.10.0 OS: Ubuntu Karmic i386 Submission from: (NULL) (158.64.77.254) When Compiz is switched on in Ubuntu Karmic R's data editor is unusable. The window contents are garbled from the start, and when scrolling through the data using the arrow keys the contents of the editor window are not redrawn properly. I have verified that the problem exists on two

RE: Support for window scrolling fordraganddrop
I have two fixes in a text file. I created the diff using "diff -u", so I hope you can apply the patch. The file is attached. I never could get my optional ''scroll when the dragged element goes outside the scrolled element'' thing to work. I got it to start scrolling correctly, but then it would start making increasingly big jumps and basically scroll out of control.

[LLVMdev] Build llvm/clang with cmake vs configure produces different set of artifacts
Hi, In another post I was trying to find out how to use libc++ instead of libstdc++ when compiling llvm/clang. I couldnt find the a way to tell cmake to do that. So I switched to using configure to compile llvm/clang. But now I find that the artifacts produced are different. Here are the issues I see: - configure doesnt seem to respect '--prefix' option, it just puts

Custom builds artifacts not visible (WIN 32)
Hello again, Cruisecontrolrb works well now on my XP box but for the following problem: I have set up rails_rcov so that I can generate code coverage automatically at every build. Following the manual, I have a custom task that copies rcov output to a specific folder (d:\work\ccrob\artifacts) I have set up the environment CC_BUILD_ARTIFACTS to /work/ccrob/artifacts using the tip given in another

Ugly widgets, artifacts in button corners (Ubuntu 8.04)
Well the picture is pretty self descriptive [Image: http://img58.imageshack.us/img58/6315/screenshotwineconfiguraxo1.th.png ] (http://img58.imageshack.us/my.php?image=screenshotwineconfiguraxo1.png) For things like buttons, tabs, scrollbars, and toolbars the top right and bottom left pixel is inverted. There are more artifacts next to the scroll bar. I have tried it with and without Compiz and

odd 'digital' sound artifacts
Hi, I've got some weird sound artifacts happening during calls, they're very hard to describe, so I have a 122kb recording: http://openprojects.rarcoa.com/~miztic/artifact.wav normally the artifacts are just short blips, not quite as long as the one above, but they sound the same. When using the aggressive echo suppressor, it seems like those artifacts cause a really loud buzzing sound to

Re: Window Scrolling on OSX
I did read something about the Qartzdriver, supposedly by the guy who originated Darwine, but was built for older version of Wine... Don't know if there's current work being done on it. WineHelper is a step in the right direction, but ideally when Wine works better, it shouldn't open various log windows, process windows, and whatnot (while being available for debugging), and X11

Ogg artifacts
I'm having some difficulty getting into Ogg. Being my first time encoding to Ogg, I am left doubtful of the quality in reproduction. Hopefully, it is merely something that I am doing. My original intentions were to go through my CD collection and rip everything out at 224kps VBR. I began with an album I was relatively familiar with. I used FreeRip 2.53 initially, but found that I had

Log viewer for colorized logs
Is there a decent log viewer for colorized log files? less -r for me doesn''t work well, as it sometimes clears the screen. I''d like: * Either a console type less viewer which just removes the colors * Or, even better, a console one which handles the colors without clearing the screen * Or, best of all, a GUI viewer - maybe even with color I use both Windows and Linux.

Sangoma A102 w/ EC module gets intermittent echo/audio artifacts <--followup and resolution
Followup on this issue, it appears that using a single PRI's clock as the master clock avoids clock drift between the PRI's and we get no more artifacts. So, : wanpipe1.conf: TE_CLOCK = NORMAL TE_REF_CLOCK = 0 wanpipe2.conf: TE_CLOCK = MASTER TE_REF_CLOCK = 1 zaptel.conf: span=1,1,0,esf,b8zs span=2,0,0,esf,b8zs -----Original Message----- From: Michael L.
