I am running Kubuntu 10.04 and running wine 1.2.2. I got Steam today, and it loads fine. But when I click on any page other than the one it opens with (right now it's about Black Ops), the whole thing crashes. I can open it again, and the same thing happens. I can even install games from my library, but I can't go to the store or anything. I don't get an error message either. Any

While installing 3 different games under Wine (Medieval II - Total War, Patrician III : Rise of the Hanse and Anno 1503), the installation went smoothly but the same problem of the game asking to insert an already inserted CD occured. By searching the web, it appeared that it was a cd protection issue, so I found no-cd patches and applied them.

I am running wine 1.1.43 in Debian Squeeze (32 bit) and still receive this error. My console gets flooded with the message "fixme:threadpool:RtlQueueWorkItem Flags 0x4 not supported" after I login to steam and as soon as the main steam menu appears, it crashes. Has anyone else still received problems with the new steam GUI?
