Wine aborts setup.exe for weird reason: Need a FIX
Wine aborts setup.exe: Why?
WINE can't see setup.LST file during installation of simple win ME app
I'm installing eX-Sense Pro under wine in Natty. It's a simple win me/win xp application.
The setup.exe runs fine, but wine seems to not see setup.LST - another file in the same directory:
Setup cannot find C:\users\redwood\Temp\boom1000\setup.LST.
Setup is aborting...

GE centricity viewer??
I picked up some data from the nearest hospital to take to the
specialist at the next one, with whom I had an appt.; it came on a CD,
which is marked "DICOM Volume with GE Centricity Viewer."
When I put the CD into a drive, Fedora 11 auto-mounts it, and
fails to find the autorun.exe, which is right there in plain sight. (F11
knows it exists, and asks whether to run it, and then

Trouble installing packages with Winetricks
Hi all.
I know I posted a similar topic before, but I think it's necessary to re-formulate the problem since it has taken a different wider focus.
I'm trying to make some of my Windows apps to work on Linux which used to work quite well with Wine back when I had openSUSE 11.1 last year. Right now I'm focusing in one called DBabble. Back in 11.1 I used Wine Doors to download libraries

Do you have any /lib64/libc.so* or /usr/lib64/libc.so* ?
Are you still setting LIBRARY_PATH or LD_LIBRARY_PATH, as mentioned in:
https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/binutils/+bug/738098
?
Thanks,
Jay.

Ubuntu package for dovecot 2.0.x from debian package
Hi,
I am running a server under Ubuntu 11.04(natty) and I would like to
install a 2.x version but
unfortunately the only package available is 1.2.15.
Of course I could compile and install from sources but I would prefer
to handle packages because
it's a lot simpler and cleaner.
After some research I found some debian packages available here :

Running Modern Warfare 2 on Ubuntu 11.04 Natty.
My hardware is Intel Core i7 4GB ram, Nvidea GeForce 310m graphics card. I installed my graphics drivers in Ubuntu 11.04 using the recommended techniques. My video drivers are noted as experimental however all features and 3D support is working in Ubuntu 11.04 gnome environment. I did not use the .run file downloadable from the Nvidea website. I have read the sticky about no sound. I have no sound

$lsbdistcodename stays the same after dist-upgrade
Dear List,
i was running a few natty systems and upgraded one of them to oneiric.
Facter shows the right lsbdistcodename, lsbdistrelease, etc.
parameters, but when i''m running puppet agent the modules has access
to the previous (natty, etc.) values. As i see on puppetmaster in /var/
lib/puppet/yaml/{facts,node} the output from facter and the agent is
cached and won''t update

end_modal question
Really stupid question, but have you wrapped this all in an App class? If you don''t have a
wxApp subclass driving your applications then all sorts of badness would happen.

Cross Browser Popups
Hi,
Does anybody have a little cross-browser piece of code
to resize a popup ?
Excatly, I don''t know if it is possible ?, I would like to open
a popup on the side of an existing window like if it would be a tabpane.
So reducing window width by the width of the popup, set the popup on
the side of the window. And the best of the best: when the window is

popups, queue & agents
Hi everyone -
I have a nicely working system to which I'd like to add popups for
incoming calls. Calls go into a queue, then all extensions ring.
I'd like the agent that answers to call to get the popup on screen.
I'm currently using Flash Operator Panel to get a popup (other
suggestions welcome). Currently, all users get a popup when the call
first goes into the queue

btrfs device scan

"btrfs device scan" comes back with nothing other than
"failed to read /dev/sr0"
One computer has a btrfs RAID-1 volume, and the other has two separate
btrfs filesystems. The results are the same whether the filesystems are
mounted or not.
Why is "btrfs device scan" not
