SWAT 4 and mouse escape bug....
Hi all, after reading some posts here about the mouse escape bug I forced the MouseWarpOverride option in the registry. Now the problem is that the mouse moves back to the center of the screen whatever I do. As I read in another post this is a different bug and to solve it I had to put MouseWarpOverride on disable. I am stuck here between to bugs. Any help appreciated. Wine version is 1.1.10.

Ok, as of 1.3.23, the I'm seeing behavior is as ertdfg22 described. If I set "MouseWarpOverride"="disable" then the mouse immediately gets stuck on the first screen in the lower left corner after a little jumping around. If I set "MouseWarpOverride"="enable", everything appears to work fine on the first screen, but when I select "Load a Saved

Dungeon Keeper 2 mouse issues.. again
Hi, I am trying to run DK2 in Ubuntu 9.10. It launches, but the mouse pointer is stuck it the middle of the screen. Its possible to move it sometimes, but it seems chaotic. I have done the "Navigate to HKCU / Software / Wine. Create the DirectInput folder/key and create the MouseWarpOverride string value and modify the data to 'disable'" thing advised everywhere, but it did not

Having problems with wine mouse hack

Mouse jumps in wine

Mouse wrap problem with Mass Effect on Mac (wine 1.3.23)
I used Wineskin to wrap Mass Effect (1). Wineskin helps me a lot with finding working and non-working versions of Wine and has worked very well for me in the past. With versions later than 1.3.23, (26, 27, 28 ) the game freezes after character creation. So I used 1.3.23. the problem is (still) that the mouse doesn't wrap in-game. Mouse move out of the game window
Hi Am using ubuntu 9.04 with wine. Right now am facing one issue while playing game (IGI) under wine. [Steam Game] Killing floor running slowly
Hello I am completly new to the linux and wine but i did manage to run a few things. I wanted to run my favourite game (KF of course) and i have a few problems. I use newest version of Wine (1.3.20). I tried to replicate the demo line for line. I even created a DB table, etc. etc. No dice. I''ve spent like 4 hours on this. I''m using rails 1.8.whatever and apache2. Problems getting workaround for Fallout bug #6033
I can't get workaround for Fallout mouse problem working as mentioned on: http://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=6033 I created a key at [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Wine\DirectInput] named MouseWarpOverride with the value 'disable' This had no effect. Can anyone give me any ideas as to what I may need to do?

How to do the MouseWrapOverride=disabled?
Hello, I have installed Dungeon Keeper 2 in Wine 1.1.31, in Ubuntu 9.10. The game has installed correctly, but the cursor is stucked. I have read that I have to fix it with "MouseWarpOverride=disabled Wine setting" but i can't find where do it. Please somebody give a hand with that. Thanks. Sorry for the bad english :(

[Wine 1.4rc1]Mouse support broken in MassEffect and Bioshock
Hi, I upgraded to wine 1.4rc1 from the official wine PPA for ubuntu Oneiric Ocelot (11.10), I am running Ubuntu 12.04 alpha, and mouse support seems broken for Mass Effect (the first one) and Bioshock (the first one too). I have made some tests with a clean wine prefix. The works smoothly in the game menus, but after a level is loaded, it seems the mouse x an y axis are not recognized anymore :
