Re: [ foobar2000 ] Right-click on tabs does not work
Problem disappeared when upgrading wine from 1.3.23 to 1.3.24 (Ubuntu 11.04). The only missing feature to use 100% of foobar is USB support. I'm using foo_dop to manage my Ipod, and by now it is only possible via Xp installed in a VirtualBox VM.

Screen Corruption in directory trees in foobar2000
Hi I've just built a new Ubuntu 9.04 system on an Asus P5Q-EM board (intel G45/X4500) with E8400 Core Duo 2 chip. I installed WINE and then foobar2000 but notice that the explorer tree in the Album List and Preferences window quite often become corrupt. http://www.flickr.com/photos/25525287 at N08/3515171090/ Anybody got any ideas why this might be happening? Foobar2000 audio player Regression
Foobar2000 worked virtually perfectly in the 20041021 release (aside from some comctrl32 repainting issues -- which native comctrl32.dll fixed), but in 20041201 it is completely unuseable. Two major problems: 1) The toolbars are completely gone. They are sort-of displayed when they get activity via mouse-press or whatever, but they do not repaint correctly at all. See this screenshot for details:

OT: Oddcast DSP for foobar2000 v .7
I'm doing live streaming with foobar2000 and oddcast. I've noticed fb2k is now at version .7 (at least RC). The plugins need to be recompiled for the new version. Anybody out there using Oddcast with the new version of fb2k? I didn't see anything on oddcast's website, but I thought maybe somebody has recompiled it themselves? Thanks! -- Luke Stodola

Hiccups on music even with the Implement_SetThreadPriority patch
The application in cause is Foobar2000, the only application that plays music files inside archive files (e.g. a mp3 album contained in a .rar file). Unfortunately Amarok doesn't support KIOs :-( At first i was using the Debian unstable package, but the sound glitched at lot. So i built the latest version of wine, 0.9.20, after patching it with the SetThreadPriority patch. There was a reject

Mouse click works in some parts and not others
I am new to winehq. I want to use it to run a program called Bestcase but it is not working. Do I just have to wait for something to happen to fix it or for someone to care enough about Bestcase to change wine so that it runs Bestcase? Is there something that I can do to possibly make it work? What are the steps required to get this program working under wine? I don't know what the

Fwd: Random "fast forward" noise between tracks
Hello all, I have subscribed to this list hoping I might find someone who can suggest a fix for a problem I'm experiencing with Icecast (or possibly something else in my setup). Here is my configuration: Foobar2000 is running on a Windows XP PC. It has the Oddcast plugin and it is streaming to a Linux machine that is running Icecast Server 2.3.2. Foobar2000 is using the Crossfade,

Replay-gain
Hello everyone, I'm new to this flac thing (started about a week ago) but I have read a lot about flac and replaygain. As far as I understand it, replaygain is lossless in the sense that I can tell my player to ignore the settings or I can even use foobar2000 to remove the tags entirely, hence getting back to the original audio. If that is the case, why is there a warning in the foobar2000

Win32 and ELF created files are different
Hi everyone, I was fiddling with FLAC executable on Linux and also making FLAC files with foobar2000 under WINE. I was using the same exact options for both linux native executable and flac.exe through foobar2000. But I have noticed something: The FLAC files themselves created from flac.exe and flac(ELF) are not bit identical. They differ in something (Not audio data). Looking at this, I used a

serving speex without a server
On my personal web pages hosted by my ISP I have a collection of speex files with names ending, as usual, in '.spx'. My ISP does not provide for scripting or CGI but thanks to the "Home-Brew Streaming" idea of Dr Tak Auyeng, www.drtak.org/teaches/ARC/speex/, my friends with Windows XP can listen to such a recording without the need for a prior download of the whole file and

Nice UI Tabs - based on a click
Hi: I have a piece of UI, basically tabs. The number of tabs will be variable. the tab itself will contain fields that will change depending on the tab (pretty standard). The UI could be Ajax-like, or just nice scriptaculous, or whatever works. Can someone point me in the right direction? Also, I''m a newbie, so simple is better, although of course I''m willing to figure

W2K BSOD: Memory errors
Hi everyone! This is my first post to the list. Be gentle ;) I run Windows 2000 Pro SP4 EN, on a 1400 MHz AMD Athlon Thunderbird. 512 MB RAM, not sure what speed though. For a few months now I've been getting errors while encoding with flac. I use foobar2000 for encoding from WAVE to FLAC, with the help of CUE sheets. I can confirm it's not foobar itself that's giving the errors,

Announcing - AstJax click2call Firefox greasemonkey script - click and dial phone numbers in any webpage
Hi there, Just to announce that I've improved upon a greasemonkey script which allows users to dial any number (in the given regex format) by turning it into a clickable hyperlink. The script uses greasemonkey's ajax callback to a simple php controller script, so that the click does not navigate away from the current page. It requires an Asterisk Manager connection. See
