Re: Kareo please help
I tried to get some help from support but they acted like I was an idiot for even trying. I know there is a way but I'm not sure how. I'll keep checking back in the forums in case someone passes through this neck of the woods.

I'm well aware that I'm on here a few months late, but I was hoping to find some step-by-step answers. I'm not utilizing Kareo at the moment, but it's one of the medical billing softwares that my boss is looking into. That said, he's also not adamant about keeping Windows on our system. . . .but he doesn't want Mac either. Pretty large conundrum, right? Anyway, my boss is

Re: Kareo please help
Well, I just moved to Linux Mint. I haven't heard anything from Kareo yet. I would think they would be able to at least work with WINE to give those who are not interested in Windows malware. Anyway, has anyone heard of any headway in terms of making it work? rg

pxechn.c32 for EFI
> Does the EFI version of PXELinux support http like gpxe, that would be awesome loading down those 400 meg wim Windows PE File and loading them using wimboot from ipxe (that works still with PXELinux) - only I only got it working so far with tftp that makes no difference ;) Good question. I've only ever used tftp to first load vmlinuz/initrd and then ks.cfg. Then use HTTP for subsequent

pxechn.c32 for EFI
I'm looking for either a way of setting the root path - a Linux style "pivot_root" functionality, that would be perfect. Also a way of overriding prefixing the root path with a URL or some other acceptable syntax to designate to use a different TFTP server. That would really make PXELinux really versatile. Some people concerned about security may want a way of blocking that just

Exception handling in custom facts
Hi. I''d like to use exception handling in my custom facts. For example, in plain Ruby: begin buildno = '''' bcrelease = open("/etc/BCrelease") while (line = bcrelease.gets) line = line.chomp buildno = $1 if line =~ /^Build:\s+(\d+)/ end bcrelease.close print "#{buildno}\n" rescue print "No

Samba 1.9.16pl11: dropping connections between Solaris 2.5.1 and WinNT4SP3

The client is copying a large number of files up to the server, then there is a pause at a random file,
