Appdb entry (http://appdb.winehq.org/objectManager.php?sClass=application&iId=8352)
I'm trying to get all my games to run under linux, but of cause a few are giving me problems, and Pathologic is one of the few that really bothers me.
As far as I can tell, the game uses DirectX9, Windows Media format (cinematics), and OpenAL. Of the three, the WMF dependency is the most annoying, as it

Still garbage, can anyone take a look and see if they can find a way to get past the server login screen? It hasn't worked for like 4 years in wine, think it's about time we got to the bottom of it?

Ys Origin killed by update
Having installed this (http://appdb.winehq.org/objectManager.php?sClass=application&iId=5000) little jewel, I proceed to test it.
Version 1.0.0.0 works "as advertised", getting into the title screen just fine.
As soon as I update to version 1.1.0.0 however, wine keeps giving me a crash dialog when I try to run it...

pickup.listchecker involving packet capturing/sending
With ease, due to the overwhelming amounts of documentation and help from these forums, I was able to get Warcraft III: The Frozen Throne (http://appdb.winehq.org/objectManager.php?sClass=application&iId=897) working very nicely. I use this game to play a popular custom multiplayer map DotA (Defense of the Ancients). Due to the default 250ms delay within Battle.net a popular application has

Debugging a STATUS_ACCESS_VIOLATION
I am trying to track down the source of some STATUS_ACCESS_VIOLATION in Restricted Area (http://appdb.winehq.org/objectManager.php?sClass=application&iId=8710) and I can find an seh that coincides with the freezes, but I can't figure out what is throwing it. I've pasted an example below. Any thoughts on where to go from here?

Re: Gaming
This might be necro-posting but this is practically only place which show-up if one tries to search in Wine AppDB for "Battlefield 3" so it is worth to mention that at current state of Wine-1.3.31 any game/application using:

Hello, and sry for this posting in advance...
I'm now a supermaintainer for Windchaser, and here's my very stupid problem.
Why I don't find it by typing "windchaser" in the AppDB search?
The keyword "windchaser" is in the form.
I find it with the search of "browse apps" but not with the search of "Search the AppDB".
and here's the app

AppDB Voting System Wierdness
Hi, I'm a newbie.
I was looking at the AppDB and I think the voting is a great idea to prioritise what people want and will use. However, I was looking at my favorite game that I want to get fully working on wine - "Company of Heroes (http://appdb.winehq.org/objectManager.php?sClass=application&iId=4506)". I can't understand why there isn't a global voting for this like

Mouse problems in Dungeons and Dragons Online (DDO)
Since version 1.3.20, and in versions since, mouse movement has been erratic in Dungeons and Dragons Online.
I was waiting for some of the major mouse bugs to be fixed before commenting and that seems to have occurred, so I thought I would chime in.

how to install freephoneline.exe from CLI
Looking at:

What are the steps to install this application? Yes, it's a garbage
application, but I'd like to at least give it a go. Looks like msiexec
apparently isn't the right approach. Should that be through wcmd instead?
