cannot set share ACLs
Hi, Following the wiki page Setting_up_a_Share_Using_Windows_ACLs windows shows me this error after clicking on Shares: Disk Management could not start the Virtual Disk Service (VDS) on 'COMPUTER'. This can happen if the remote computer does not support VDS, or if a connection cannot be established because it was blocked by Windows Firewall. Tested on a new provisioned AD-DC server.

This is using xen-1.1.bk on Redhat 7.3 (I had to rebuild all the tool binaries to run on 7.3). Anyway, I would first like to make sure I am using the vd/vbd stuff correctly. VMware distributed port groups..Supported?
Hi, I installed libvirt on CentOS 6 today, only to find I could create the volume, create the VM, but could not assign the interface to a distributed port group. I then downloaded the latest source, compiled, and it looks to be the same...unless its under a command I'm not recognizing? Does anybody have the great tip that is going to set me free? I hope? Everything we use is on the

oddcast DSP is what you want, it supports live input (called Advanced Recording) and does support streaming to Peercast...It currently does not support Vorbis metadata for live recording (since metadata for vorbis streaming is inserted into the ogg stream, as opposed to how it's done for mp3 in which the metadata is updated on the server via URL calls)... anyway, it's the closest thing to

Hi, Distributed Port Groups come from the "vNetwork Distributed Switch" (vDS); a feature of VMware vCenter. cannot set share permissions
Hi, so you would like to restrict the access to the share definitions? E.g. only "User1" should be able to access the Share "Private"? Have you had a look at this documentation? https://www.samba.org/samba/docs/using_samba/ch09.html (This doc is quite old but should still apply). We're running a seperate fileserver which is joined to the SAMDOM DC. Then we're using
