MGCP IADs
Hi,
For MGCP users. Is there any success stories with any MGCP IAD vendor.
I?m trying to find an IAD which works with Asterisk. I?ve tried the
Cisco IAD 2430 without success; but SIP on this IAD works but it?s
limited (no authentication, no notify messages, etc) and with higher
density IAD (16 or more ports) it?s nice to control using MGCP.
Any information will be apreciated !
Thanks.

Dovecot path separator clarification
Hi Friends,
On Debian Jessie and Dovecot 1:2.2.x using the default separator "/"
(simply leave commented 10-mail.conf -> "#separator =")
I've create for a vuser (from client) a subfolder Scuola/prova
on server side, Dovecot create:
../Maildir/.Scuola.prova
Here my question: why not
../Maildir/Scuola/prova ?
Where I'm wrong?
Many thanks!

Interfacing to an IAD
I'm considering switching my incoming phones lines from standard analog
to a T-1 service from XO communications. They propose to bring in an
"IAD" which has 12 lines of voice and 768k of internet bandwidth as part
of a package deal. Since I want to keep the voice traffic in the digital
domain the equipment they're proposing is a "Lucent Digital Vina
Integrator" IAD

Cisco IAD with MGCP
I repost a message I put a week ago:
I have a Cisco IAD 2431 which has MGCP protocol; I cannot make
it to work againts Asterisk; at least there is some MGCP conversation
between them but when I offhook a phone attached to IAD I get no tone at
all.
As anybody managed to get working Asterisk against an MGCP Cisco
gateway ?
Which MGCP version should I use ?
Also I recently

More on the IAD connection
As a follow-up to my previous post where I stated the IAD would be a
Vina model, after some more prodding to XO, they have told me it will
either be an Adtran TA-600 or a CAC Adit 600. These products are covered
pretty well on the web and I have manuals on both. So, if those
knowledgeable folks had to use one of these to attach to an Asterisk
box, what interface would be best or at least

Problem with special characters
I have the following problem:
I am using igraph and entering a graph from an external (.txt) file using
read.graph("a.txt","ncol")
In a.xtx the name of the nodes contains special
characters (such Polish names, etc). In the
R console, the visualization of the names is not
correct and I am loosing some of the special characters.
Any help will be greatly appreciate.

Hi,
Sorry for bothering you because I know that your time is voluntary, but I would really appreciate some help. I work in a hospital in part of Ireland?s national health service, a service which was struck by a massive cyber attack a couple of years ago. Since

[PATCHv2 0 of 2] Deal with IOMMU faults in softirq context.
Hello everyone,
Reposting with after having applied the (minor) fixes suggested by Wei
and Jan.
Allen, if you can tell us what you think about this, or suggest someone
else to ask some feedback to, if you''re no longer involved with VT-d,
that would be great! :-)

DID on TDM400P Question?
Does anyone know if the current TDM400 card can take DID digits from the LEC?
If so is there any reference to how to set this all up? As I get my current
service from my LEC over an IAD, so would be sweet to just have trunks, not
each channel specific to a number.
Also if the above is possible, if the line is being used for DID, then is
this only workable for inbound, or can I also seize the

Failed to join domain: failed to precreate account in ou (null): Out of memory
with samba 3.5.1 if I were to join a server to the domain and specify an OU
to create the computer object in, i get
Failed to join domain: failed to precreate account in ou (null): Out of

However, if I run the same command with samba 3.4.5 it works.
Did the syntax change? I cannot see anything about it

Thanks Andrew.
One more problem solved, as I discovered last thing yesterday there
was a missing "[Install]". Using your copy of the httpd service I
cut-and-pasted it onto the end of the service file you'd given me
earlier and at last was able to load the service. It wouldn't run,
but at least it was some progress.
