A few versions back, when one of my wine'd program needed to show an URL page, it (through Wine of course) sent that link to my default browser (Firefox) in Linux. It worked like this until version 1.1.35. Starting with 1.1.36, it pops up an IE window instead, which doesn't work on the URL and I don't want. I am trying to play Rift. I just did a full install of openSUSE 11.4 (wanted to try something other than ubuntu). I added the WINE repo and installed it. I then installed Rift with the downloader with WINE instead of using my windows install. I used the winetricks that came with WINE and installed d3dx9 and vcrun2008. Just a small post to inform you that Crysis 2 MP demo is working with wine 1.3.14. You can easily install it using PlayOnLinux (Standalone setup and Steam version) or manually install it with vcrun2008 and DirectX Runtime (June 2010) dependancies (only tested standalone). Regards, WineFan62
