Hard Reset Demo doesn't render textures
I've tried to run demo of Hard Reset and it has two big problems on Wine. First is that mouse isn't working. You get input only from keyboard but that can be solved with raw input patch. I used the one that is working with Deus Ex: Human Revolution:

but second is much worse. Basically almost all of the textures aren't rendered. It starts

Football Manager 2007 running very slowly
Hi all,
I have a problem running Football Manager 2007.
The game's match mode consists of an almost full-screen, almost-2D animation of the match. 10-15mins into the game this animation slows down to the point of making the game unplayable.
The specs of my machine are above the requirements by a factor of 3-5 and so far I have been unable to identify any hardware bottlenecks. The only thing

can't run DirectX applications properly - window garbled
Hello,
I have searched, read and tried everything I can think of, but without success. So I really need some help here.
The application I am currently trying to use is PixPlant, but I have the same problems with other apps using directx or opengl (I am totally confused now) to display some content. PixPlant is a program for generating textures. It has an area in its main window where it displays

TC Newbie Questions
Having never worked with Linux TC before, I have a few questions about setting
it up and am not certain I understand the Howto well enough to do what I
specifically want.
I have a linux firewall talking to my cable modem, as well as the rest of my
network. I have 4 things I''m trying to accomplish, in order of priority:
1) I use a VoIP phone, and want to give it as much bandwidth as

cant browse user home directories
I had to reainstall my server and couldnt avoid upgrading samba. Before
reinstalling, I had samba configured to let users browse their home
folders from Windows PCs using their Unix system user/pass. Now, it is
not possible, I have just managed to implement the same authentication
system as before and give access to a public folder. The home folders
remains invisible, if I set browseable = yes,

Anyone please make Wine permissive?
Sir,
I am rishikeshan. I am a 14 years old student. I am interested in permissive open community. I hate copyleft.
Don't fear of commercialization. It is needed to the earth. Actually, GPL is blocking the development. I will definitely help you if you make it permissive. Maybe you can make YOUR code permissive. How permissive nature help you?
How can I get old BSD release?

Help getting Torchlight 2 Beta running (Mac)
Hey everybody, I'm VERY new at using Wine, so forgive me if this is a foolish question! Recently I've been trying to run the Torchlight 2 Beta under Wine? the game itself runs flawlessly, but in order to get it to run past the beta expiration date I have to run another application (I'm not entirely sure what it is, my belief is that it emulates a server of some sort to play on).
