I have been trying to install several games, and all of the ones that have more than one disk fail, one way or another, at the point of changing cd's. Some (doom3) just quit [there exists an alternative plan for doom3], and others (Baldur's Gate-SoA) lock up the cd and won't let go. The only way to get the cd out is to kill the installer. Hello, I installed this game thanks to the DVD. So, when the installer ask me to place the 2nd DVD in the dvd drive, i can eject the first DVD. So, i place the second DVD but after, the DVD is not mounted automaticaly. I tried to launch this command : mount /dev/sr0 /media/cdrom but without success, the dvd2 is always umounted... I can't install completly the game with this problem. Thanks

I need help! I installed Winebottler, and installed the first disc of a 4 disc windows program on my mac book pro. But when I went to install disc 2 when prompted, I had to quit Winebottler to put the disc in. But I need Winebottler running to do the install. How do I do it? David Murphey

Is it possible to insert and eject a USB image in kvm/qemu/libvirt or are the only dynamically changeable devices cdroms and floppies? I've searched the web and I'm either not looking for the right terms or it's obscure. I can't attach a cd when a vm is running with qemu 0.12.3 (ubuntu 10.04), the problem is not with qemu because when I start the vm with kvm command (without libvirt) I can change the cd with qemu-monitor without any problem and eject it too (libvirt say me that it isn't supported by hypervisor). the versions of libvirt that I have tried are 0.7.7 and 0.8.0.
