Re: World of Warcraft - Screen Tearing
Bump. FWIW, I note that sound disappears a random interval after I start playing WoW, which suggests some kind of creeping memory corruption to me. Perhaps it's related to the video problems, perhaps not.

WoW WotLK Beta cant install
With the recent release of the WotLK Beta, after running the installer and scrolling all the way through the EULA, the Accept button remains grayed out. The game works fine, if you were to install it on a Windows partition and then copy it over you would be able to execute the game. Even though this is just a Beta it would prob be a good idea to start working on how to fix this because more and

World of Warcraft - Screen Tearing
Hello! First forum post here go! Using Ubuntu 9.10, WINE 1.0.1 (system keeps locking on trying to add the ppa for the development version). i3 system w/ higher-end nVidia card. I'm using the restricted drivers, ensured they're not the 'broken' ones that cause fan failure. I've taken the time to add a registry key for Direct3D, and am making sure that the system is using

Everything fine, had a few fps problems but with some tips found in wowwiki i've manage to increase fps to about 20. Some users would say it's still low, but i was happy with it. Well, some weeks ago i've updated to Ubuntu lucid (10.04). It's great, but my WoW fps drop down to about

White screen after some time in WoW
My problem: After some time playing WoW (about 1-2 minutes) the whole screen turns white. Everything else seems to work perfectly, I still have sound and I still can interact with my character. I can even open a terminal (blindfolded) and type 'killall WoW.exe' to quit WoW and make the white screen go away. wine --version outputs 'wine-1.1.37' I use the propiertary nVidia drivers

EULA won't let me agree when installing WoW via wine.
Trying to install World of Warcraft on ubuntu 8.10, with the most recent version of wine, and I get to the end user license agreement, scroll all the way down, and I can't click agree on it to continue with installation. I'm using the download game client feature from my account on WorldofWarcraft.com, not the game CD's because I have a broken CD drive. If that helps any.

Graphic Stutter in WoW
Good evening all, I've got a pretty bad graphic stutter that happens every 2 seconds or so. Like the whole game is stopping graphically for a second then returning to normal for another 2 seconds. I've seen the troubleshooting in the ubuntu forums here: https://help.ubuntu.com/community/WorldofWarcraft/Troubleshooting#Glitch%20every%203-5%20sec. I've added the SET gxApi
