Wine v1.1.29 in Ubuntu 9.04 I am trying to install mdac28 ushing sh winetricks mdac28. It will download and start the installation but then return this error message: The program dasetup.exe has encountered a serious problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience. This can be caused bu a problem in the program or a deficiency in wine. I tried madc25-28 with the same results.

Hi I need to install wmp to run Trine, The game worked perfect with older wine versions, it got gold and platinum ratings but now its not working anymore. The problem is i can no longer install wmp9 or wmp10 which are needed for this game. So I am trying to get back to finding the error in gmax, and I have to reinstall it because of the new machine and all. So I tried just putting it in after downloading it from TurboSquid. It complained about MSI having a major error, and quit, leaving me with a partial install. I got a panel suggesting this might be a problem with wine. So I used winetricks to install msi2. Failed again:

Huhu, I installed MS Freelancer via PlayOnLinux, but I have some graphics lags ingame/the game was redicoulus slow, I also wasn't really able to start a new game since the game hang up (kinda.
