I have two Ubuntu Linux installations, one 9.04 and one 9.10, both with WINE 1.1.31. I have a networked printer, an HP Photosmart C-5100. Aps in WINE on the 9.04 machine print perfectly. Nothing prints in WINE using the 9.10 install of Ubuntu.
when I check the printer setup I see this:

R CMD check vs RStudio check
I am trying to figure out why checking my package is deleting my inst/doc/ directory when I do it in RStudio. Along the way I've hit another puzzle.
In RStudio the check runs and is mostly OK, aside from the deletion. But when I try with vanilla R, the check fails almost immediately:

The three routines in R that calculate the wilcoxon signed-rank test give different p-values.......which is correct?
I have a question concerning the Wilcoxon signed-rank test, and
specifically, which R subroutine I should use for my particular dataset.
There are three different commands in R (that I'm aware of) that calculate
the Wilcoxon signed-rank test; wilcox.test, wilcox.exact, and
wilcoxsign_test. When I run the three commands on the same dataset, I get
different p-values. I'm hoping that

Acer Aspire 5739G - Wine doesn't work
Hi,
I've recently received said notebook as a gift. Currently it's running Kubuntu 9.10, however Wine just doesn't seem to work - any aplication I try to run on it gives an error message 'The program has encountered a serious problem and needs to close', whether it's a game, WinRar or an installer. In fact the only .exe files that work are the ones included in wine

While testing the new vcut, some of the early results had badly framed
