Debugging clang with debugger breakpoints ?
Sorry Zach, my apologies.
I understood now what you mean. I tried and it works!.
But now I found that LLVM_DEBUG statements and other output to the console doesn’t show. How do I get that back?.
Thanks
John

Wine unable to find DX9 / driver version?
I updated wine to latest git (wine-1.1.26-390-g31dab8f) and upgraded my nvidia drivers to 190.18. When I attempted to test some of the DX9 and 10 games I usually test, none of them seem to be able to recognize either my DX version or the drivers. I suspect that the drivers are the issue. Here is a relevant example from a test for Assassins Creed.

Yes, this time around the install worked. Thing is, the sha1sum was the
same as the first time I downloaded the ISO so there was no corruption
to speak of. I really don't know why it wasn't working before.
I haven't done much in the preview except try out Spartan and do some
configuration. I like the UI design.

Linker errors after installing/compiling LLVM/CLANG
I don’t personally develop on Mac (i use Windows), but I have an analogous
setup there where i use ninja to build and Visual Studio for editing,
debugging, etc.
What i do, and I assume it will be the same or very similar for Xcode, is
to run cmake twice, once with Ninja, and once with VS (Xcode for you), from
separate directories. I build with the ninja one (“ninja clang” on command
line), and I

A libc in LLVM
The main concern I have is that Windows is so different from
everything else that there is a high likelihood of decisions being
baked in early on that make things very difficult for people to come
along later and contribute a Windows implementation. This happened
with sanitizers for example (lack of support for weak functions on
Windows), LLDB (posix api calls scattered throughout the codebase),
