Hi all, we're trying to install CentOS 5.1 on a Sun Ultra 40. This is an AMD-powered machine and we're using the x86_64 version of CentOS 5.1. The machine is using the NVidia CK804 chipset and has SATA disks. HI... i have 2x KXStudios 10.x, Lucid in the same PC. 2x different HDDs, but exactly same Hitachi Ultrastar. One has TangoStudio1.1-RT Kernel 2.6.xx the other has Generic Kernel 2.6.23-33 the reason for this is the FGLRX drivers that does not support -RT Kernels. one has Wine1.3.15 the other Wine1.3.26 the Generic Kernel + Wine 1.3.26 has problems with WineASIO JACK. if i could re-install

As I mentioned on a thread about flash-plugin a few days ago, I'm having trouble with my sound device getting "stuck" and thereby causing problems for anything that accesses it, like video playback. Rebooting the machine "fixes" it for a while, but it's unpredictable for how long -- sometimes months go by without it recurring, sometimes it happens every couple of days.
