Hello everyone
It's me again.
I created a new topic because I finally and successfully installed DWMX with Wine on my Ubuntu 9.04 machine
(see this topic: http://forum.winehq.org/viewtopic.php?p=27108#27108)
Now that everyting installed well, I tried to launch the program...it will not launch.
I have added the dramweaver.exe application to winecfg.
I have tried launching using terminal.

using Icecast source client as PulseAudio source
There are many Icecast source clients[1] available now.
The Coolmic[2] app is particularly interesting because it can turn a
Android phone (e.g. SmartLav+ lapel mic[3]) into a wearable mic for
presenters.
Not everybody is keen to run Icecast though, some people may want to
mix-and-match the Icecast source clients like that with some other
broadcasting platform, Jitsi Meet[4], Zoom or whatever.

Dreamweaver MX 2004
Hi,
Has anyone had any luck installing or getting it to run from a windows install?
Basically I'm stuck at exactly the same point (I get the exact same messages
and all) as http://www.winehq.org/hypermail/wine-users/2005/02/0018.html and
the people who posted comments in the AppDB
http://appdb.winehq.org/appview.php?versionId=1810.

Dreamweaver with Rails
Hi all, I am working with a graphic designer who uses Dreamweaver for
HTML. When he views the .rhtml files in Dreamweaver, he currently has
to rename the .rhtml suffix to .html in order to work with it. Does
anyone know if there is a setting for Dreamweaver to properly view the
.rhtml files without having to rename them?
Thanks,
Jerome

Dreamweaver 8/MX in Ubuntu 10.04 64bit wont start.
I can not get Dreamweaver 8 or Dreamweaver MX to run. I have installed each one a couple of times and come to find out that Dreamweaver 8 has not been tested or at least WineHQ does not have a listing for Ubuntu 10.04 and Dreamweaver 8. Now they do have a listing of Ubuntu 10.04 and Dreamweaver MX and they do have Ubuntu 10.10 and Dreamweaver 8 listed. But when I install Dreamweaver 8 or

Element.addMethods() is not a function after upgrade to 1.7.0
After upgrading to prototype 1.5.0 and scriptaculous 1.7.0 my
autocompleter.local died... firebug reports that effects.js is to
blame calling Element.addMethods();
I can not find out why cause as far as I can see it does exist in
prototype.js.
Any pointers anyone :(

Bug in g++ 2.95.4 (Pointer to member functions)
Hi,
I think I have discovered a bug in FreeBSD 4.8-STABLE's system C++ compiler:
% gcc -v
% Using builtin specs.
% gcc version 2.95.4 20020320 [FreeBSD]
Here is a stripped down example that can be used to reproduce the bug:
// ----------- begin bug.cpp -----------
#include <iostream>
class Class {
public:
void M1 (void) { cout << "M1" << endl; };

Call for Testers: Dreamweaver on Wine
Last I checked, Dreamweaver 8 starts and seems to run reasonably
well under Wine. But I'm no Dreamweaver user, and I don't have
time to do much QA on it myself, so I'm sure I'm missing a lot of problems.
Could somebody test it and/or comb through the appdb comments, usenet posts,
blog entries, and whatnot about Dreamweaver, and start filing bugs?
Can't fix 'em if we

accessing samba over the internet with dreamweaver
Hello,
I've got a friend who publishes his site via dreamweaver. He connects to
his site via a samba share and opens and saves files. Now the sites have
tempoarily relocated. I'm wanting him to still be able to access his site
files with his dreamweaver over the internet. Is this doable with either
samba, directly through dreamweaver, or something else? This needs to be as

Macromedia Dreamweaver MX
Hi,
I hope this is the correct mailing list to send to.
Basically I have just put in a full Linux computer suite in the school
I work at. The problem is they need the Macromedia Suite for their 6th
form students.
As I couldn't get MX2004 to work at all I have 'downgraded' to MX.
Fireworks, Freehand and Flash MX all work perfectly! But...
Dreamweaver does not. What happens is I run

Wine trying to run everything from \\windows\\system32
Okay, I'm a complete newb... but I don't think this is the way things should be happening.
I've installed Wine 1.0 (and uninstalled and tried 0.96... same problem) on Ubuntu 8.04 and I'm trying to install Dreamweaver 8.
By all accounts, this should be a simple double-click on the exe, but nothing happens. Running the install from terminal results in:

Samba versus Dreamweaver
Hi!
I hope someone can help me with this one:
We're using Macromedia Dreamweaver 3 to publish local files from a NT4
Server to our internet server running Redhat 7.3 / Samba 2.2.3a. Life could
be so sweet but we're facing a strange problem: Users can't _overwrite_
files edited by other users. Everytime someone tries to overwrite such a
file the message "An error occurred -

Hello,
I'm trying to set up a Linux, rh9, webserver with samba support, so that
user's can make the pages on their windows boxes and drop them right on
the server. I'm having one problem, when the user connects Dreamweaver,
