Extremely weired Thunderbird OpenSSH interaction
Dear OpenSSH developers,
first thank you for this great tool!
Me and a friend have experienced some seriously crazy interaction
between Thunderbird and OpenSSH, the problem is it's
not reproducable but as it left definite traces on the server and it
could be a serious security problem I still want to report it.

New DIB Engine still slow compared to the MAX engine?
I've been using the Max version of the DIB engine for a long time now, and it was always useful because it sped up everything so much. There were of course occasional glitches graphically (noticeably a few font colour issues though these were still less severe than the font color issues without max's engine). Is the lastes versione of Dib engine included in wine1.4rc??
If not, how i where i can take the copy of the lastes version of the dib engine... I have already controlled http://wiki.winehq.org/DIBEngine and http://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=421 but i could not find the lastest dib engine version..

Purpose of DIB Engine?
Hello again.
Today I got following question:
What is the purpose of DIB Engine? Is it to speed up DirectDraw apps, or is
it to add missing functionality for DirectDraw ?emulation?? I'm asking this
because I recently tested few DDraw apps (Fallout2 and Happyland Adventures)
with DIB enabled and... well for HA there was now significant speed
difference, and Fallout2 slowed down even more :( .

OpenGL + DIB
Hello,
I am testing some OpenGL software that uses a DIB backed device
context followed by a BitBlt operation to draw graphics on to an
on-screen canvas.
Unfortunately this does not seem to work.? I have tried to patch the
latest wine with DIB engine patches (bug 421), but, was unable to get
it working still.
My question(s) are:
1) Is this a known issue?
2) Is it in the scope of the DIB engine

Where to report DIB engine bugs?
I saw a problem with dib engine - in some applications text disappears if dib engine is used. That text is present if i don't set WINEDIB=on.
Where do i report it?

Problem building 1.3.8 from source
Hi,
I've been building wine from source for years, originally because I
needed some custom patches, nowadays out of habit. Just now I'm trying
to build 1.3.8, but I get an error during build:

Can't install wine on osx 10.6.4
Hi, I am new to all this wine stuff, and I am having some problems building wine following the official instructions (http://wiki.winehq.org/MacOSX/Building)
I have the latest version of Xcode installed and have X11 sitting in my Utilities folder as well.
I want to build wine from source without the use of MacPorts of Fink as I want to add the DIB Engine to my build.

How to use the wineprefix with another wine-path
Hi, there
I recently purchased a copy of bordeaux in order to try the dib engine (and pulse) in wine1.2
I would like to use this in already installed bottles.
So I tried something like this:
code: [export WINEDIB=ON]
then (as an example)
code:[/opt/bordeaux/bin/wine | env WINEPREFIX=~/.wine-test wine winecfg]
This does create a wine bottle, but in this way the dib engine doesn't get loaded

Diablo II: No music in menu
Hi,
I frequently compile wine from source.
Last weekend, diablo II worked fine. Today, after I updated wine to
latest head, it isn't playing any sound in the menu.
The debug log says:

It looks like there is a misunderstanding about the fact that there is
are gateways between the lists, so people are posting a questions to the
mailing list and then posting the identical question at ruby-forum,
nabble, etc.

Hmm, no one bit on my previous question about Space Empires Starfury...
all right, this time I've got a little bit of technical info which might
be helpful - here's what the terminal prints prior to the game crashing
and requiring a kill -9 to get rid of it:
