Your title has been truncated so nobody knows what option is missing. Please repost. What system are you using that requires you to run Firefox under wine instead of a native version of Firefox?

Why 'wine' processes still stay after I close Windows Firefox ?
After I close firefox I still see two 'wine' processes consuming ~50% CPU each. I use wine-1.1.26 on FreeBSD. Yuri

Firefox-30 for Windows crashes under wine-1.1.2
It installs, but when I run it "Mozilla Crash Report" window pops up. See console output below. BTW I am aware that Firefox runs under Linux/FreeBSD, but I think it should also run fine under wine. Why flash in Firefox doesn't always show Chinese words?
I run Firefox under wine with flash 10 installed. This page: http://www.quickmandarin.com/chinesecharacter/ has a nice display of mandarin words, but very often it shows rectangles instead of words. How can I figure out why words aren't shown? How can I know which fonts are used? Virtually all other web sites with Chinese display correctly. Yuri

Wine on FC2 crashes on File Selection dialog
Hi List, My FC2 Wine installation crashes (without any message displayed) on every application which shows the std. file selection dialog (eg File - Open) as soon as I change the directory in the dialog or click "OK" or "Cancel". This even happens with the stock "notepad" that comes with Wine. "Winefile" however can browse the file systems correctly,

Print options dialog (LPR) disappeared
When printing from an application in Wine (e.g. notepad.exe) my system used to popup a Linux print dialog (called LPR Options) which was quite useful. A few weeks ago this changed and the dialog is no longer displayed. I am using Wine 1.1.19 but I am sure it happened with 18 and 17 as well. I think it is not Wine version related because on another computer the LPR options dialog still popups

All Wine dialog boxes have the mouse symbol out of position
I've just installed Wine. Every Wine dialog box/window, on mouseOver, jumps the mouse cursor left and up, but sends mouse clicks to where the mouse would/should be. In other words, when I roll the mouse over any Wine box, the arrow symbol immediately moves left and up, then subsequently moves in relation to how I move the mouse, until the original mouse location exits the dialog box, when the

[LLVMdev] --enable-shared doesn't build shared library any more
In r134967 it still worked, and in r137742 it now doesn't. I used such flags: --enable-assertions --enable-shared --enable-libffi --enable-debug-runtime --enable-debug-symbols --disable-optimized Before build would create directory tools/llvm-shlib under the build tree. Now it is missing. Yuri

[LLVMdev] Why gdb on MacOS doesn't show function names in stack when llvm::JITEmitDebugInfo is set?
Because OS X is not an ELF target, and support was only implemented in LLVM for making ELFs with debug info. I think the docs I wrote on this may suggest that the FSF gdb 7.0+ will work, but that's not the case. [LLVMdev] Why -jit-emit-debug doesn't work with gdb-7.1 ?
Since FreeBSD is an ELF target, this should work fine. I've also tested that this works in 32-bit by building gdb and llvm in 32-bit mode and testing this stuff while running on a 64-bit OS. I would try setting a breakpoint in gdb on 'llvm::JITDebugRegisterer::RegisterFunction' to see that it is being called, and that getELFWriterInfo returns something. If that function actually

Would FireFox through Wine have better performance?
In Ubuntu FireFox seems to have rather poor performance, scrolling is slow, flash messes up and everything. Now, I have my firefox all set up like in windows and I'm honestly too lazy to set all his up again if the windows FF doesn't perform better.

6 second delay for File / Print dialog to come up
Single 100MB switched subnet. 500MHz Samba 3.0.4 PDC (test server) and 3Ghz Win2K clients. I have three Spoolless printers defined on the client via the APW and downloading the driver. Open notepad, type some trash, file, print, and there is a 6 second delay until the print dialog comes up. Canceling out and doing so again from the same instance of notepad is just as slow, so not even notepad

Wine crashes when running Trickster. Problem with dialog boxes and charset...
Hiya, I have some problems (quite obvious, huh ?) with a game named Trickster. I installed it like described on my Howto ( http://wiki.jswindle.com/index.php/Wine_Trickster ). The problem is when I launch the game, an error appear (in Japanese but the charset used currently don't display the character correctly). Is there a way to change the charset to ISO-2022-JP or SHIFT-JIS so I could

Changing the font used by dialog boxes in Wine
Wine keeps getting better and better, but I've been having a minor font problem for a while now that's been bugging me. In every dialog box, an incredibly ugly little fixed-width font is being used. I'm not sure what name it goes by, so I don't know how to change it. I've put the following in the [fonts] section of my config file: "Resolution" = "96"
