Wine fails to compile on Caos NSA 0.9 x86_64
I have tried compiling wine versions 1.2.1, 1.2.2, and 1.3.12 on caos NSA 0.9 x86_64. All versions have the same behavior when I try to compile them. During configuration I get
configure: error: FreeType 32-bit development files not found. Fonts will not be built.
Use the --without-freetype option if you really want this.
This occurs even though freetype.i386, and freetype-devel.i386 are

ggplot2 reorder factors for faceting
Dear List
I am trying to draw a heatmap using ggplot2. In this heatmap I have faceted my data by 'infection' of which I have four. These four infections break down into two types and I would like to reorder the 'infection' column of my data to reflect this.
Toy example below:
library(ggplot2)
# test data for ggplot reordering
genes <- (rep (c(rep('a',4),

[PATCH 0/7] copy-in/copy-out: Capture errors from tar subprocess (RHBZ#1267032).
Commits 3c27f3d91e1566854747bbe844186783fc84f3a8 and
1b6f0daa9ae7fcc94e389232d0c397816cda973d added an internal API for
running commands asynchronously. It is only used by the copy-in and
copy-out APIs.
Unfortunately this made the command code very complex: it was almost
impossible to redirect stderr to a file, and there were a lot of
long-range dependencies through the file. It was also buggy:

[PATCH 0/7 v2] Make copy_in & copy_out APIs, and use copy_in in customize
Hi,
attached there is the second version of the patch series adding
copy_in and copy_out in the library, mostly moving them from guestfish.
It also adds the copy_in usage in virt-customize, as aid in a new image
building.
Thanks,
Pino Toscano (7):

[PATCH] fix mkelf32 when cross compiling on i386 for x86-64
Use strtoull to parse the final_exec_addr value from the command
line. Whe cross compiling on i386 for x86-64 unsigned long is 32 bit,
which leads to final_exec_addr being truncated to 32 bits by strtoul,
which leads to grub refusing to load the resulting image. Please
apply.

Wine on OpenBSD
Hi,
I was just wondering if there is any ongoing effort to get wine
ported to OpenBSD.
The wine version in their ports tree is from 1999 or so.

[PATCH] lib: Limit space and time used by 'qemu-img info' subprocess.
After fuzzing 'qemu-img info' I found that certain files can cause the
command to use lots of memory and time. Modify the command
mini-library to allow us to place resource limits on subprocesses, and
use these to limit the amount of space and time used by 'qemu-img info'.

[RFC PATCH] allow connecting to xenconsole from remote hosts
The attached patch makes xenconsole send and receive console messages
over a remote connection, instead of via stdin/stdout - if given the
--remote switch. It is useful for proxy''ing real console message or
other protocol messages (such as gdb) between dom0 and a remote
host. We''re currently using it for proxying gdb between gdbstub in a
partition that talks gdb over the console

[PATCH] Lguest launcher, child starving parent
Glauber noticed long delays between hitting a key, and seeing data come
up on the virtual console. Looking into this, I found that the
wake_parent routine that reads from all devices was actually starving
out the parent after sending the parent a signal to wake up.
The thing is, the child which takes the console input is recognized by
the scheduler as an interactive process. The parent,
