Hi, I purchased BF2: Complete Collection from EA's web site about a year or so ago. I was running Windows and bought it using EA's Download Manager (aka EA Link). I couldn't run the game without that program being active. Now, I proudly, run Linux full time and I can't get the game going because it still depends on EADM. I installed EADM, but it won't run. Hello everybody, I installed Ubuntu 10.10 a few days ago after Windows Vista crashed again. I have to say that Linux is way better than Windows, so I don't want to go back. But I like to game sometimes, and that's the only thing Windows does better than Linux. I want to install Battlefield 2, but it really doesn't work. Hi I am trying to get Battlefield 2 and Battlefield 2142 to launch under Kubuntu 10.04 & Wine 1.3.6. I'm using an Nvidia 8800 GTX 768Mb GPU with Nvidia blob driver 260.19.12. I have a original Key of BF2, but don't the cds anymore, so I Downloaded the DVD image, install and runs perfectly with patch 1.41 and crack on SP(and kicked via PB on MP because crack), so I Try to use the DVD to start the game without crack but I don't have sucess, so I Download many "Mini-image of the game" and try to mount and specify in Wine, but I don't have sucess! :(

Hi, I'm trying to get the Battlefield 1942 demo to work. The game runs, and I can start a game. but all the graphics are messed up. The ground is black, weapons and vehicles are blue and missing parts. I installed DirectX 9 but it changed nothing. Any ideas? Thanks! I have tried both BF2 and BF2142 and in both cases I get sound but no 3D. The window is just one color which does change (I think to the most dominant color on the screen). OS: Fedora8 GFX: ATI Radeon HD2600 Series (Driver: ATI V8.3 - March 5, 2008) WINE: 0.9.56 Any help would be appreciated.

Hey, since 1.0RC1 my 4th mouse button on my logitech G5 doesn't work anymore...all games that I've (BF2, Bf1942, CS:S, F.E.A.R) doesn't react when I press the 4th button...what is that for a bug? And why it haven't been fixed already? (I don't find a bug at bugzilla for this...but I don't think that I'm the only one with that problem)
