HI Trying to install Divx9 using winetricks. Using Ubuntu 8.10 and have cabextract installed, and my graphics card has it's driver installed (NVIDIA GEforce FX 5200). I'm currently running Ubuntu 10.04 and Wine 1.3.0 I've followed the How To guides and tried running the install from the terminal window. I get just past installing DirectX then the install window claims that it's installing BsSndRpt.exe concurrently the feature transfer error window pops up. I really don't know how to fix the problem. So I got ye olde winetricks. When I try and get it to install DX9 all goes well until it actually begins unpacking files.
