I'm a first-time Linux and Wine user, and I don't understand how to run Wine yet. I have Mint Elyssa, and I am trying to install Spore. What on earth has happened to spore. It used to work fine with wine 1.1.12, no real problems. Picked it up today to have a game and nothing, it tries to load and don't even get to the front screen. I have wine 1.1.16 and have downgraded to 1.1.13 with no joy. I have Nvidia graphics driver 177, downgraded to 173 and no joy. That is a shame, I did enjoy that game and now it's not working.
