I'm using Fedora 13. Wine 1.2 rc.4 was great for Dragon Age Origins. However, I needed to reinstall my system a day ago. After that, I couldn't find rc4 in test-updates repositories. Hi there. I'm trying to turn on DirectX in Wine. (please read whole message, and only after that blamming me). Recently, I've used Gentoo and it's Wine. But after that, I switched to Fedora and start using Fedora's Wine. Some programs load successfully, but not DirectX. As I said before, everything was normal in Gentoo, but not in Fedora. Hello, in the AppDB i have seen, that FAKK2 is fully playable on wine. After installing the game i started it and it runs really nice but it has no sound at all. On the wine sound settings i have tested all sound settings and all give back a test sound but whatever i check - in the game there is no sound. I haven't seen any error messages in terminal. Maybe there is something in the ingame

After 1 day of work i finally got NWN2 working. The game starts, and everything seems to work. (even the Securom copyright protection). But in the game I have a big problem: the FPS are around 0.5. :( I have tried some things, but I'm am not experienced enough with wine, to fix this issue. Because Autodesk implement the newest Microsoft's technologies as .NET 3.0 and they do not want to downgrade products only for reasons like working on Wine... I have an Imac AMD Radeon Card and an NVidia Card. Games like Medal of Honor Allied Assault and code of Honor French Legion (just a 2 of the alot) has specific issues comparing with nvidia cards. in those games nvidia cards run smoothly but ATI cards/AMD Radeon do work, but "stotter" when walking and turning at the same time. Hi, installing X3 terran conflict via wine and steam worked like a charme ... only sound isn't working. Looking into the wine configuration, I do get only a a dull "boo-boop" if I test it. Any hints where I can find a way to get the sound working?
