Connectiion to UPS via SNMP
Hi NUT-Users, we work with a GE LP 33 UPS and an Advanced SNMP WEB Interface Card. This card supports the RFC1628 Definition. So I think this combination work together with NUT and the snmp-driver, correct? I installed the networkupstools on my Debian Sarge with apt-get (nut & nut-snmp). After configuration I start the upsd and upsmon. I get following output in /var/log/syslog: ... Aug 3

I haven't tried it, but if snmp-ups polls every 30 seconds, and MAXAGE is 15, then with a random polling interval, 50% of the time the data would be more than 15 seconds old. In

Query NUT via SNMP on Linux?
I don't think it is SNMP. I don't know the answer but I think it is the documentation. Search for "remote UPS with NUT". Query NUT via SNMP on Linux?
I'm wondering if it is possible to use SNMP to query a NUT instance running on a Raspbian Linux host. Please note, I am NOT talking about querying a UPS via SNMP, but rather interrogating NUT *about* the UPS from another SNMP system. Currently, when I do snmpwalk talking to the NUT host, all I see is very limited information (location, hostname, etc.) So I know SNMP is running and

Query NUT via SNMP on Linux?
I guess I wasn't as clear as I thought I was. I am NOT asking about how to monitor a UPS using SNMP. NUT is already configured and monitoring the UPS just fine on a USB connection. I'm asking if it is possible to query NUT, using SNMP, *about* the UPS it is already monitoring. Two UPS via SNMP at one ubunut box
Hi all, I would like to check two UPS in two different buildings with an ubuntu server. I use SNMP on both UPS. The cgi-page displayed all information as expected, but if I pull the fuse for one UPS in building A, none action occur. I expected that I get a mail "UPS A on Batt" and that after 5 minutes the shotdownscript starts. But no action. I saw that there is no upsmon process

GE lanpor ups monitored with SNMP stop to monitor after upgrade
Hello All ! Recently I have upgraded NUT to 2.4.1, and now I can't monitor old IMV LanPro S3 UPS with old SNMP board. Previously it is monitored OK, but now snmp-ups refuses to start: [root at perforce /usr/local/etc/nut]# /usr/local/libexec/nut/snmp-ups -a lanproups -DDDDDDD Network UPS Tools - Generic SNMP UPS driver 0.44 (2.4.1) debug level is '7' SNMP UPS driver : entering

using nut to monitor SNMP UPS unit
Hi all, I've been trying to build NUT (latest release source) on a pretty "standard" CentOS (RHEL style) linux box, to monitor an APC Symmetra UPS Unit which powers our server room and broadcasts information via SNMP to appropriate clients. I am having some trouble even encouraging NUT to build with snmp support, which doesn't seem to happen by default. I am curious if anyone

SNMP/management front-ends
Hi, I've been using TrippLite's PowerAlert software with my RM2200XL2U rack system and my APC BackUPS desktop systems. Unfortunately it doesn't work with openSUSE 10.2 (the software has problems with the serial port and UPS interfaces on openSUSE 10.2), so I've been looking at other options. I see that openSUSE 10.2 includes NUT, and it appears to work with my TrippLite UPS via

I see this in syslog: Aug 12 03:57:22 orion upsd[18274]: Data for UPS [a102-apc-10] is stale - check driver (one for each UPS). APC UPS SNMP board
I know this isn't exactly the right place to ask, but I figure at least *someone* on this list has done it once. I recently acquired an AP9617 web/snmp management board for my UPS. The web and telnet part of it work great. However, I can't get *anything* from the snmp interface. I've triple-checked the community name and access settings (currently are wide open). I've ensured

Assign Formulas to Arrays or Matrices?
Hi, I am very new to R. I am hoping to create formulas and assign them to locations within an array (or matrix, if it will work). Here's a simplified example of what I'm trying to do: form.arr <- array(31,5,3) for (i in seq(from=1, to=31, by=1)) { for (j in seq(from=1, to=5, by=1)) { form.arr[i,j,] <- as.formula(y~1+2) } } which results in this error: Error in form.arr[i, j,
