Can't get Windows program installed under Wine to work
Hi,
I am using Ubuntu Linux 10.4 (64 bit). I have been trying to use a scientific program written to work on Windows XP and Vista. I can't run it on my Windows Home Premium as this does not have XP compatability mode. I therefore decided to attempt installation via Wine.
I have downloaded the latest version of Wine and installed it. I used Wine to install the program with no problems.

I posted these on my AppDB test data submission as well, but thought I'd post it here for your convenience (if you're still trying to get it to work, that is).

Dear David,
I have the same bad password problem with my windows98 workstation.
I have spent quiet a bit of time analysing this problem but still could not find any resolution.
Did you manage to find any better solution for this problem?

Problems running MS Money 97
Hi,
I have done a lot of work to try to get it to run, but now I am stuck.
Following are the things I've tried.
Money 97 will install (after a long time) on both Crossover Office 2.1.0
and wine-20040121. When starting the program in both Crossover and
wine, an error dialog box is displayed when starting the program. The
text of the error message is:

Re: Wine 1.3.11 and Micorsoft Money Sunset Edition
In order to make it shut down properly you may try the following.
In Wine configuration , "Graphics" tab, check "Emulate a virtual desktop".
Now all wine porgrams will be opened "inside" or "above" a Windows' blue desktop area.
Now when you want to shutdown MS Money, use mouse right-click on the task bar -> "Close", instead of Money window

Samba dosn't seem to work when bridging is enabled under FreeBSD 3.4
Hi,
I have been trying to set up a network bridge on my FreeBSD 3.4 machine (hades),
and as soon as I enable the bridge, Samba stops servicing requests from both
sides of the network.
The following is a 'diagram' to give you an idea of my setup.

Fw: Session logging in Windows98?
Does anyone have a function such as tee() described below?
It would be nice not to have to go to Emacs and have to deal with yet
another editor.

I've gotten Microsoft Money Sunset running under wine following the instructions here...
http://appdb.winehq.org/objectManager.php?sClass=version&iId=21030
Application runs fine for the most part. But I'm having two problems.
Money must use some internal web thingy (technical term) and uses it for it's pages. Every time it starts up, I need to open them. I'm thinking that
