I am running Kubuntu 10.10 on a 5-year-old Dell Inspiron. I would like to run CNC3: Kane's Wrath through Wine, and I successfully installed it using the PlayOnLinux frontend. The only problem is that I need to install CNC3 to play it, and every time I try the installation quits just when the files are about to be copied, citing an error with msiexec. Ok, not sure why this is happening, havent updated wine or made any changes to cause this issue... Starting moaing about msvcr80.dll So i decided to un-install CNC3 and re-install... it reckons it un-installed it, but hasnt, now if i try to install it - it only gives me remove or modify... Removing again doesnt work, and neither does modifying.. How can i fix this so i can reinstall it..??

Hi, I've installed Command & Conquer 3: Kane's wrath on my PC, using Wine 0.9.59. It works, but I cannot see the mouse cursor, so it's not possible to play. Does anybody know, how to solve this problem?? I tried all of the possible choices of DirectX setup (in Wine), but it didn't have any effect.
