utorremt systray
Hi
I have found that utorrent doesn't display its systray icon unless
I switch from dual screen to
single screen. When I login to twinview the systray icon is missing
but if I use nvidia-settings
I can switch to a single screen. and back and have a systray icon.
However if I restart utorrent
it will be as before and no systray icon. Should I file a bug report
here(bugzilla) or with

systray apps invisible
I have a problem with applications residing in systray. The systray is
always invisible, nowhere onscreen to be found. What the app starts I
sometimes see a window showing itself and the immediately disappearing
again. The applikation is running but I cannot access it.
I have to start the app with desktop in order to gain access to the
systray, but that surely cannot be the idea (as I do see

Print spool icon in systray reports jobs pending when none are pending
I have an issue I'd like to resolve with a client and the print spool
icon in the systray...
If the user (on w2k) mouses over the print spool icon, it tells them
"xxx jobs in queue" or some such, and the xxx increments once for each
new print job they send.
Also, the print spool icon never disappears from the systray until a
reboot, or re-login. Once a job is sent to one of the

dear,
I'm running ubuntu Dapper with newest version of wine, and everything
is fine. Only, if I start utorrent.exe via the session-manager of
ubuntu (where I configured wine so it starts utorrent on start-up) I
cannot see a system-tray icon. The same problem is for my UD-Grid
device, I can't see 'm in the system tray.
If I start manualy the program, it's all fine: even the system

Desktop malfunction - Wine
So, this is the capture I got from running Wine alone on my desktop.
Fedora Core 3, Wine 20050111, without Winetools. This is using the
latest stable SMP kernel (don't have version number off the top of my
head, -740 or something like that). I may have left out numerous dubious
details. If so, please let me know...
FWIW, this is installed off the latest RPM.

Hi all,
We encountered a strange phenomenon when trying to upgrade from 1.6.2.0 to
any newer releases:
We use the following cli command to feed a wave/mp3 file into an existing
conference on an other serve:
/opt/asterisk/sbin/asterisk -r -x "channel originate

The corresponding extensions.conf part looks like

wine-systray too small
I'm sure I'm not the only one with this problem, but I can't find any
reference to it anywhere...
When I start an app such as getright that minimises straight away to the
systray, I get a tiny window with no icons, which my window list calls
"Wine-Systray". I have to be super accurate to put the mouse in the
right spot to right click on what should be the getright icon (but

wine git hardy systray issue
I'm totally stumped. I'm running Hardy Heron and wine from git (I just
updated about 3 hours ago) and I'm having the systray issue where wine apps
in the systray just show up as blank space and you cannot interact with the
systray icon.
This issue was supposedly fixed in 0.9.60 and backported into the Hardy
repos, but no matter what I do I can't get it fixed. I've tried the

Dear all,
I posted this problem sometime back on 0.9.26

I thought the problem was fixed, but it seemed not.

SCIM malfunctioning on wine 1.1.15
I just downloaded wine 1.1.15, compiled and installed it on my centos 5.2 PC.
It's exciting to successfully migrate applications to linux. However, I found that SCIM sends strange codes as Chinese and Japanese characters to applications.
I need both Chinese and Japanese input methods very much.
Can anyone give me advice to correct this problem?

bin/152154: script(1) -k malfunctions with certain shells (e.g. tcsh, bash, zsh)
http://www.freebsd.org/cgi/query-pr.cgi?pr=bin/152154
It has been suggested to me (by a committer) that I should raise the
issue of this PR here on these lists, because the problem described
within the PR remains a real problem, and despite my having proposed
something that seems to be a perfectly workable fix, no action has
been taken on this PR for some years now.

timing_sleep malfunctioning under MinGW
Hi,
I have successfully gotten the libshout-2.0 release to compile under
gcc/MingGW ('gcc -mno-cygwin', version 'gcc (GCC) 3.3.1 (cygming
special)'), after applying Leigh Smith's patches as posted on this list
(http://www.xiph.org/archives/icecast-dev/0660.html). I have then
generated a dll and wrapped it in JNI using the stubs from libshout-java

plot(1:3) malfunctions with par(bg='transparent')
Hello, All:
Try the following:
par(bg='transparent')
plot(1:3)
I get two plots superimposed, one over twice the size it should
be, much of it outside the device region.
Thanks for all you do to make R such a useful tool. People all
over the world live better today, because R helps improve the
effectiveness of data analysts.

[LLVMdev] r57326 malfunctions?
Looking back through the commits to llvm-gcc-4.2/trunk/gcc/config/i386/darwin.h,
I see a total backout of format related warnings in r56923 followed by the reapplication of
r569065 with a fix (r56946)...
