Based on the test reports it worked with versions prior to wine-1.x.x.
Now with wine-1.1.2 it produces this error message;

wine upgrade causes finale font display problem
Hi,
I use open suse 10.0.
With the same configuration of $HOME/.wine folder but different wine
versions I got two small screenshots of finale 2003a that show the font
display failure.
This is the correct display of all fonts in finale:

Static/shared linking woes
Greetings.
A straight-out-of-the-cd Slackware 9.
A straight-out-of-the-tar Samba 3.0.0.
# cd source
# ./configure --with-automount --with-smbmount
(...configure ran...)
# make
(...make ran...)
# du
... What?? The bin/ directory amounted to over 400 MB!
smbd over 24 MB, when the 2.3.x one I have is 1.7 MB?
I presumed it erroneously linked all the libraries as static. So I did:
# ./configure

I have an application that I would really much use under wine but I can not install it ;/.

Cannot access a file with Mulberry from a dovecot server if the mail does not end with a newline character.
I use Mulberry 3.1.6 on Windows to read my mails with dovecot 0.99.12
Solaris 9. There are some mail which I cannot read. When I try to open
such a mail, dovecot quits and restarts (I can see that with ps,
nothing is logged). The Mulberry log just looks like this:

A bit late now, but it would have been better to use something like
'ad.prawda.net.pl' for your DNS domain.

MS Project and IE trusted zone
MS Project 2003 seems to mostly work in Wine RC1 but it needs to use a html renderer to do anything useful.
The problem is that whatever it uses need to be in the trusted zone in the Internet Explorer options which I don't know how to access. I tried to install IEs4Linux but that installs into its own wine environment ~/.ies4linux/ie6/ instead of ~/.wine/ so Project can't get use the

Accessing file_column_helper from withing controller
Hi All,
i have i niggly little showstopper -> I need to access
file_column_helper from within the controller, as I need to include an
image in my "pdf-write" code...
Any sane way to do this?
"Require ''rails_file_column''" still gives me an error: "undefined method
`url_for_file_column''..." (I am using *svn* version with Rails 1.0)

Using the 'by' function withing a 'for' loop
Dear R experts,
I am trying to optimize my script, because right
now it requires a lot of memory. The goal is to
generate four plots in one page. Every plot
corresponds to the means and sem's calculated for a
given variable at different days. In order to obtain
the means and sem's I apply the 'by' function. The way
I have done it so far is like this:

Running Internet Explorer from Withing R
Good morning,
Is it possible to open an html file using IE but from within R? I wrote a small function to generate tables in html but I'd like to write another function to call IE and open the html file.
Thanks,
