MacOSX and OpengGL
Hi. Since there is a lot of misleading info on the net I wanted to ask if there is any way to make OpenGL work with wine on MacOSX? I know it is not wine's fault but maybe there is some workaround that I am not aware of? BTW does anyone when (if at all) Apple is going to fix this OpenGL bug and is there any place where I can find the status of work on it? Regards Michal.

The GMA X3100 is not compatible with wine at the moment (i think). It has had issues with everything I have tried to run. I have tried wine with both linux and OSx. And most app's will complain.

Wine wants OpenGL for everything... then fails
Wine is hosed on my Ubuntu Edgy install. It was working fine on Dapper, and I'm not sure if I tested Wine since upgrading to Edgy last month. Anyway, no matter what I try to run I get something like this (running notepad in this example) and the program fails to launch: $ notepad wine: creating configuration directory '/home/dit/.wine'... Xlib: extension "GLX" missing on

Sonic Mega Collection crashes on startup.
Ubuntu 8.04 Wine 1.1.10 The sonic mega collection contains almost every genesis sonic game, along with some game gear sonics. The game installed flawlessly, and the no-cd patch worked also. However, upon loading, it shows a faint shadow of the famous SEGA startup screen and then locks up and must be force killed. Changing it to various compat modes did nothing. Normal Output: Code: name at

Need help getting Sonic CD to work.
First things first: I'm using Ubuntu 8.04 and Wine 1.0. (according to wine --version). The app: Sonic CD, retail (the newest) version. You can find a legal copy of the demo http://www.download.com/Sonic-CD/3000-2099_4-10004176.html?hhTest=1&tag=lst-1&cdlPid=859962 here. I believe it works the same as the retail version. At least, I had the same problems with it. A person made a patch

Xrender and OpenGL troubles in Darwine
Hey all, I'm very new to Wine, but I was very excited about the potential behind it, so I tried installing the 2.2.3 X11 XQuartz package from http://xquartz.macosforge.org/trac/wiki/Releases and kronenberg.org/darwine 's stable 1.0 version of Darwine on my Macbook that is running Leopard 10.5.3. The installs were easy, but I'm having some difficulty now with actually getting some

[LLVMdev] HOWTO on LLVM with ....
Is there an explicit document describing how to do LLVM with Cygwin? Or with Solaris Dev Express? And is LLVM considered a “safe” replacement for gcc on MacOS? In other words, if I’m doing some ObjC and C/C++ on the MacOS, if I drop LLVM in, is it going to create some strange kinds of heartache later on?
