Help, please-- Ubuntu 8.04
I'm trying to install a game (for Windows, obviously) using an ISO that I've mounted using Gmount-iso. When I tried to run AUTORUN.EXE from the disc as below, I was given the proper splash screen, but then it closed, leaving me with the following data. I post here instead of the Application DB because the data seems to suggest a problem not specifically with the game in question (Vampire:

Application can't access the internet or start a browser
Hi, I've been trying to install ChemDraw 11.0 (not on AppDB), using the site license owned by my department on Ununtu 8.04 using Wine 0.9.59. I got the installation to go OK, but when I start the program I get stuck at the part where you put the registration code in and activate the program. When I choose the "Activate over the internet" option, nothing happens for a while, then

Regression test starting point
I am wanting to perform a regression test on an application but am not certain of the starting point I want to test. Test results for 0.9.53 indicated simply that it worked OK, without details of all aspects of the application, some of which are being reported as broken now. So, I want to confirm that it really did work OK then, as when I test with 0.9.60 through to 1.0rc3 it fails on some

Direct rendering disabled - apparently common on 64bit
I'm running Debian Squeeze on an ASUS UL30VT with a GeForce G210M, using the 2.6.32-5-amd64 kernel. Obviously I'm on a 64bit system. I'm using the non-free nvidia driver and I followed the howto at http://wiki.debian.org/NvidiaGraphicsDrivers while installing it. According to glxinfo I do in
