Eager load mysteriously deletes records
Hi
This looks like a bug in ActiveRecord.
I am messing with eager loading (on 12.1) and all of a sudden records
started disappearing from a table (and I am not doing anything delete
related)!!
The following line works OK:-
@todos = Todo.find(:all, :include => [ :whens],:order => "position ASC")
The following line is mysteriously deleteing :where rows from the DB

Moveable Type import question.
Hello RoRsters'',
I''ve just started my first project with ROR, and frankly it''s pretty
amazing, there are many things that still haven''t "clicked" for me yet
but essentially it''s all coming together.
My first project is a basic blog application to replace a current
Moveable Type based blog. I''ve managed to get the basic functionality

More problems...
So cat /etc/resolv.conf yields nothing.

Shows a broken link. Since this is Ubuntu 18.04 with systemd and the
stub-resolv.conf missing, I'm lost. I'll test my google fu to try to figure
this out, but if someone can point me in the right

DIB_DirectDraw_BltFast
Hi,
There is this (freeware) game called Dink Smallwood, which I would like to
play and it almost works but not quite:
You walk around in this game in a view from above, but wine does not draw
the floor tiles, which is quite annoying.
So I printed out the debugging-manual and tried to figure out, what's
going on. There are two function calls, which I believe to have identified

FireFox-46.0.1 build with interprocedural register allocation enabled
Hi,
the best way to move forward, and I guess the answer to your question,
is to get your work to build and test on try.
And now I'm going to flood you with jargon, sorry. Instead of trying to
document that all here, I suggest you ask people for help on irc.
Notably, #taskcluster, and #build. Folks there are your target audience
for compiler changes, too.

Easy. I terms of materials I have been unable to find good books that
introduce users to R from the perspective of someone familiar only
with packages like SPSS or STATA, or not familiar with statistics
packages at all. Even introduction texts use jargon

xmms plugin
Anyone else hacked together an xmms plugin for Vorbis? I took my best
shot at it based on the source and some of the info I've picked up off
this list... I haven't really tested it yet, but I think with a little bit
more hacking it might actually work.
I can put the source up if anyone wants to dink around with it, but I'd
rather just clean it up a little then perhaps ask xmms if

IE stopped working after update
04252006 0906 GMT-6
Apparently sometime in the last two weeks my Internet Explorer stopped
working. My son said one day a message popped up and said Updates
Available from Ubuntu so he did the update and he thought Wine was one
of them. Anyway, I have to have IE for a IE only site.
What can I do to figure out why it is not now starting?

Cron and Cluster
I need an idea on how to accomplish this: I have a cluster that I only want
to run cron jobs on when its active.
I know the cron script can check for node status, but then I have multiple
copies to maintain wheres my existing resources all reference config on the
shard fs (httpd/sql etc) so a change on the active node makes that permanent
on the next node.
Any idea how to do this?
Thanks!

Where does a newbie get started?
I heard this project mentioned on the MythTV mailing list this
weekend. I'm interested in finding more out about the way * works, but
I can't seem to find something that talks about the benefits of having
such a program in a home with a single line. What type of hardware
would be required and any additional wiring that may be required.
Does * support different rings for different callers

Need clarifications: Xen and winXP HVM: pci direct access, USB, desktop resolution
Hi list,
I''m totally new at xen and apologize for my ignorance. What I''m trying
to do is the following:
I''ve got a laptop with core 2 duo cpu.
Dom0: Fedora Core 6.
Dom1: WinXP HVM
I want to give the Dom1 full access to the wifi card, and the
possibility to use USB pen drive. So I''ve hidden the pci address
