[PATCH] XCode Projectfile does not contain window.c
Hey,
the xcode Projectfile from current speex svn which can be found at
macosx/Speex.xcodeproj/project.pbxproj
is missing the file window.c (which leads to linker errors). Attached you can
find the output of svn diff after fixing this.

[LLVMdev] llvm-gcc and -march
So my original post subject was for -march, but that was my mistake.
The command line option
is -arch.
Since presumably Macports is just fetching an llvm tar ball from some
repository, is the issue that llvm
has been misconfigure in some obvious way? Yes, I can take a look at
the driverdriver.c source file
as well.
Should this also be working in LLVM 2.9 or is the latest SVN also needed?

[LLVMdev] llvm-gcc and -march
The -arch option is handled by Apple's "driver-driver", and the MacPorts build is probably not using that. See the driverdriver.c source file in llvm-gcc for details.

He's asking about the -march option which should work either way.
Also, the driver-driver should be in the sources that they're using even still.

Wine with Renderpal -> Communication Error
Hello!
I'm running Wine 1.8.3 to run an win32 application called "Renderpal" on my Ubuntu 9.10 server. The application is a render farm manager for CG/VFX. The main task for this application is to create renderjobs from the 3D/2D application (like Autodesk Maya, Adobe After Effects and such) and dispatch those jobs to a network-renderfarm with several client computers.
Usually this

Still nothing here:
[yendi:~] echristo% llvm-gcc -march=nocona foo.c -S -arch x86_64
[yendi:~] echristo%
So, perhaps you could send more information? Or bug the mac ports people.

Fwd: net rpc lookup from group names that start with "-"
Hi ,
Thank you for your input. I have had tried all of the escape characters you
have have tested with but I have had no luck with them. I am curious to
know which versions of net have you been tested with?
I do agree that the best practice for this is to remove "-" from the
beginning of the object name, However, seeing that it can be created that
way allowed, I would like to find a

backing up IMAP server on a hard drive
Dear Rick,
Thanks.
I guess I'll have to install dovecot.
I am not sure what the parameter for the -host2 should be(apart from
localhost? )
Its my first time doing dovecot on a Linux desktop.
I was thinking of using Thunderbird to download all mails but I guess that
will be too long of a process.

Hi Charles!
Thanks a lot for your response.
Now I figure why the isbmex driver was not working. On the other hand I've
tried to run the command suggested. But no success.
I got this information when running the dmesg command after running the
modprobe

generate 3 distinct random samples without replacement
Hello:
I wonder if I could get a little help with random sampling in R.
I have a vector of length 7375. I would like to draw 3 distinct random samples, each of length 100 without replacement. I have tried the following:
d1 <- 1:7375
set.seed(7)
i <- sample(d1, 100, replace=F)
s1 <- sort(d1[i])
s1
d2 <- d1[-i]
set.seed(77)
j <- sample(d2, 100, replace=F)
s2 <- sort(d2[j])

Song
Hi there!
I'd like to make a test. There's a song that has very audible
artifacts when encoded using many MP3 encoders. Even if
you use 160 Kbps bitrate. The song is: Lara Fabian - Love by Grace.
The highest frequencies seems to be cut off when using Xing,
Lame or even Fhg!
I don't have that CD, but I'd like to know (or hear) how that
song would sound when encoded using Vorbis.
