wineprefixcreate does not create a working registry. The system had a working set of .wine .reg files however installs of office2k failed. I then saved .wine and rebuilt it with wineprefixcreate. I'm running RH7.2 and the latest version of wine. I'm running an app that needs to access a dongle for license verification. The application opens and the GUI comes up, however the app cannot find the dongle. Does anyone have a fix or work around for this? I've search google extensively and have not come across a solution. I installed MS Office 2003 a while back, I think under Wine 1.3.14 (maybe earlier). Anyway, now, under 1.3.17 Excel 2003 crashes on startup and the setup program crashes as well (I tried to repair the Excel). Looks to me something got broken in the 1.3.17 release or possibly .15 or .16 Does anybody else see this?
