similar to: (no subject)

When I try to start notepad, it starts with a grayed title bar, like it wasnt active. I cant enter text into the input window. Strange thing, menus work. To get it look like active and type text, I must select the system menu and "About wine". After closing the new window (that has appeared as active), i see that notepad appears active and I can enter text. Has someone this issue ?

I am trying to run a windows program called ACR with Wine on a Mandrake system. The install goes beautifully (thanks to all of those hardworking programmers!). But when I try to run ACR it complains that Windows is being run in Debug mode and quits. This is also what happened when trying to run ACR on Win4Lin. Does this make running ACR hopeless on any emmulator or is there a way around this?

hmm i have problems with my websites in IE. so i though of installing it. i got a few problems. Hi, I tried to run a setup.exe (Installshiled). The setup started but when I click the next button on third Dialog I get an exception message "unimplemented function .... msvcrt.dll:_ui64toa ..". The setup is using the builtin msvcrt.dll. I defined the msvcrt.dll as native in the DllOverrides section but the setup.exe/wine ignored it and loaded the builtin. Any idea?? TIA Stefan
