However, set_size calls TBUF_GET_INFO, and xentrace wants to call TBUF_SET_EVT_MASK and TBUF_SET_CPU_MASK before calling TBUF_ENABLE. Would it be possible that the max restriction for the number_of_desktops option could be set to a sane value. At the moment it's set to a maximum of ~32,000. Realistically whose going to want 32,000 workspaces! It makes the option really hard to set in compiz-settings because slider increments are too big.
