Re: Vectorworks 2010 almost working
Just installed VectorWorks 2010 with wine 1.3 and works brilliantly so far. I get a little artifacting (if that's a real word) when i open vectorworks initially op open a drawing but running the mouse cursor over the drawing area cleans that up. In fact the graphics seems a little slow to update at times like if i give coordinates to a symbol it seems to be one step behind until i cheat the

Vectorworks 2010 almost working
Hi all! I'm trying to get the cadprogram Vectorworks 2010 (VW) run with Wine. So far I have succeed in getting the program installed and to start up with a plain Wine installation in PClinuxOS 2010. To get the toolboxes and everything look normal I had to install GDI+ (gdiplus) via Winetricks. However the drawing area is still messed up after this even if the toolboxes look fine. On one

Samba 3.0 pre 17, character set
Hi! I have searched the net, but I finally didn't find an answer. I have a Samba TNG installation here, with some problems, and I would really like to replace it with 3.0 now (2.2 is missing some important functionality I need, so I would like to try the "unstable" 3.0). I compiled and installed, it works fine as pdc, but I don't get some national special characters (German

If you pass on something which can be applied to the portablexdr git repo, then I'll apply them. But portablexdr is obsolete for a reason - it's not been worked on for 4 years and needs a maintainer. SSH RPM for Red Hat 6.2 not useable
Hello, I downloaded yesterday the Red Hat 6.2 RPMs for openssl and openssh from one of the official mirrors. I could install them on a stock Red Hat 6.2 box because rpm -Uvh says (quoting from memory...): cannot install because there is dependency conflict between this rpm (openssh core) and the version of rpm and rpmlib that you are using...... In other words, the rpm packages generated
