Ahead Nero 5.0
Hello! I started to use wine (Wine release 20010326) just a few weeks ago. It seems to work fine. I have a Windows 98 (first edition) installation on an extra partition which should be used by wine. I run SuSE 7.2 with kernel 2.4.4 on an AMD K6-II 350 MHz with 192 MB RAM. I do not know anything about debuggers or programming in C, C+ or something. I tried to run the CDR-burning software Nero

Most of the time I can't even get to another console, have to restart X. But I just now got it to try without going blank (it just exited instead of hanging). I think the trouble

Recently when I've been trying to run starcraft I've been getting fixme:console:SetConsoleCtrlHandler (0x4c70c0,1) - no error checking or testing yet Then the mouse cursor vanishes and X stops responding. I need to run multiple apps with a multi-port serial board, and I am hoping to do it though wine. When I try to set a com port of COM6 in my .wine/config file I get

win32:DEVICE_Open Unknown VxD A:. Try --winver nt40 or win31 !
Hi, I was hoping to use wine to run one of those stupid windows binaries that generate a floppy (at least IBM has a clue, and also offers the raw floppy image for dd-ing) In this case, the culprit is seagate's seatools: http://www.seagate.com/support/seatools/ I installed wine under debian unstable (Version: 0.0.20010824-1) and when I run the windows binary under wine, it runs but
