All, excel.exe is still broken on the latest wine 2.11 with the mscreate.dir error on excel start up. the system is win98 so dcom98.exe is loaded. Is there a work around. If so where is it documented? I have tried to install the dcom95 version but that errors. Thanks, Dan

All, Excel 2000 does not run under wine. The error has been consistent for 10 wine releases or more. The system is FC7 with all the upgrades installed. Hello, This isn't a huge problem, but it is a little annoying. When I right click a ms office file (such as a .ppt, or .doc) and try to open the file in with Wine it lists 4 or 5 copies of either powerpoint or word. Has anyone ever encountered this and if you have any help getting rid of it would be appreciated. I am using Ubuntu 10.04. Thank you for any help, John
