I did find a say to get to the directory holding wpwin9 and it strarted but then froze with the splash screen. Not sure how to get the error message in here; seems to have to do with the keyboard and X11driver; hope I am abusing this bulletin board, but I am hoping someone can help me with the next step. Hi, there are 2 games I want to get up and running, they are Alpha Centauri and HOMM3. I would buy AC if it was available at a decent price. I have installed both from original CD, from Wine. My problems are: HOMM3: Comes up with a warning: Unable to initialize resources, possible disk problem. Can't remember if it is protected. This version was upgraded to version 1.4 by the installer.

I'm having problems trying to get Lotus notes (v5) to run smoothly with wine. It appears that there are some sort of font problems that cause Lotus Notes to hang for quite some time before moving to the requested area. During this time, xfs is taking 80% or more of the cpu. Does anyone have any idea on what is causing this and how to fix it? I'm running a plain jane install of RH7.1.
