Tribes 1.x Crashes on Launch (Appdb page lied!)
I tried to get this game running a few months ago, but couldn't and just gave up. I got back to it recently but even now I can't get it to run and I have no idea whats it is doing. The Appdb page says that it runs perfectly fine, but no matter what I try I can't even get it to launch.
The installer runs fine, and so does the 1.8 to 1.11 patcher.
But when I run it, it gives me a

Solaris X86 Wine
I am determined to see wine work again on Solaris. A while back there
was some discussion on a modification of mmap to allow dos mode to
work. The thread of wine-develop faded out after a while with no
resolution. Can someone outline this problem and how it affects wine,
and give me some reason why the finally proposed solution from last year
should not be applied
This was the last reference I

Help with debugging fatal exception in Dreamweaver
Hello list.
I've been bantering back and forth with some members here regarding a fatal
exception I get when starting up Dreamweaver. I am running Mandrake 9.1
(Kernel 2.4.22) and wine 20050419. Dreamweaver was installed with wine
20040408 and I have tried other versions in between.
The error is "Dreamweaver encountered a fatal exception. Dreamweaver will
now terminate."
Anyway,

No ack packet for tcp SYN with window scale of 64
I have found a very strange problem. We found that the time of establishing the websocket connection between mobile phone and server was too long. Then I use tcpdump to capture the data and found that the problem maybe has something to do with window scale option in SYN packet. Here is the SYN packet for websocket connection:
55488 ? 443 [SYN] Seq=0 Win=65535 Len=0 MSS=1460 WS=64

Weird TCP problem
Last week, I started seeing very strange behavior in one of the networks
that I manage.
The office LAN uses a Linux firewall which masquerades their
workstations over their DSL connection. There are probably ~75
workstations in the office LAN.
Their mail server is in a collocated facility nearby. That server has
an RFC1918 address; its router does SNAT to forward packets to the system.

Not Responding To TCP Connections
I have a CentOS 3 box that appears to be having problems where a TCP
SYN comes into port 80 for an Apache Tomcat web application, but the
rest of the TCP "3-way handshake" isn't happening. When the error
occurs, I always see this pattern in tcpdump:
* A TCP SYN comes in from the client
* ~3.25 second later I get another TCP SYN from the client
* ~6.5 seconds after that I get

routing in xen 3.0: icmp gets routed, but tcp/ip only partially
Hello folks,
I have this really strange routing problem that no amount of

I''m new to Xen and "advanced" networking, so I could be missing
something very basic.

IP SEC filtering issue
First thing to note is that I am using FreeBSD 4.8 .
We would like to send only the syn packet of a tcp connection through
certain ipsec tunnels and the rest of the packets in a connection though
a simple transport mode setup. Yeah, I know it's strange but what can I
say -- we do a lot of strange things. From the best I can tell, the
setkey/spadd filtering capability isn't sophisticated
