I have Diablo II working flawless, i installed the expansion but it just locks up when i run it i'm guessing it's something to do with the no-cd crack i'm using, has anyone got this working?

I don't know what video card you have, but you may want to try running Diablo II in Glide mode, using the Glide-to-OpenGL wrapper: http://www.svenswrapper.de/english/index.html Place the contents of the wrapper into the Diablo II folder. Greetings, I got Diablo II work flawlessly with Wine. But I want to use maphack, and that's my problem here. You see, maphack needs the END key to be pressed to reveal the map. When I run the maphack and Diablo II in Wine and press the END key, nothing happens. I suppose I need a way to send END key "signal" to Wine. :) Is this possible?

This has me baffled. I run Diablo 2 under Wine, works absolutely flawlessly in every way. I have DGA enabled, and a 800x600 desktop (also tried the Managed and Unmanaged options). Thing is, my X desktop is 1600x1200x16bpp and of course Diablo 2 is only 800x600. Ok, I do have Diablo II working, mostly. At the moment, it only works under TWM (not fvwm which is what I normally use) and only in -win mode. The problem is that the first time that my mouse leaves the diablo window, diablo iconifies. Not a major issue, I just have to make sure that it's before I start playing. Hi everyone. I just downloaded Diablo II from the Blizzard homepage, because I've read that it works pretty well with wine. Unfortunately there came out the new Patch 1.13c in march this year and after installing this the game doesn't start anymore. Has anybody an idea how to fix this problem?

now that i got diablo II installed fine (full install) , wine hangs when i try to start the game. i compiled wine with --disable-debug, so i recompiled it without that, but it still wouldn't give me any errors. it just sits there doing nothing short period after starting. anybody had similar problems before, or has an idea of what it happening? thx in advance, totti. -- Sent through GMX
