textilize/markdown/sanitize for messageboards, oh my!
Hullo, fellow Railsers! (warning: this isn''t a 100% Rails specific question, but I guess it very much applies to what a lot of us are currently doing.) For a project that involves messageboard functionality I''m looking for a good way of sanitizing user input, so the silly fools, err, my wonderful users don''t mess things up too much. I''ve played around with

Confused by the unit test results.
I''m testing the relation between two of my models: MessageThread (parent), which has_many Message (children). The Agile Book Messageboard?
Hello. Where is there an Agile Messageboard? On the first part of the Depot example, a price field shouldn''t be an integer right? (it should be more of a float since a price has decimals) Dominic Son -- Posted via http://www.ruby-forum.com/.

parameters calculated by lda and qda
Hi, I am not sure if I remember correctly a mail last week to this messageboard where Prof Ripley said Fisher's discriminants are not used in lda within R and that Rao's are used instead, is this true? I looked in MASS (1996) but I couldn't find the reference to this in chapter 12 (multivariate analysis), the (help)lda doesn't tell me either. Could anyone tell me where can I

[PATCH 2/2] nvc0: regenerate rnndb headers
The headers hadn't been regenerated in a long time and had seen a number of manual modifications. A few changes: - remove nvc0_2d entirely, use the nv50 header which has the nvc0 values too - remove 3ddefs, it's identical to the nv50 file - move macros out into a separate file Also the upstream rnndb changed the overall chip naming convention; this was fixed up manually in the

Virgin Radio launches an Ogg stream
Apologies if this is a bit of a commercial post (I've not been lurking long), but you might like to know that the world's most listened-to online radio station has just launched an Ogg stream. (As of today!) http://www.virginradio.co.uk/thestation/listen/ogg.html (or alternatively www.virginradio.co.uk/thestation/listen from a non MSIE+PC browser). Any ideas you have to help promote this

[PATCH v2 0/7] Add Maxwell support
I believe I've addressed all the feedback from the first time around, and also made fixes necessary for GM20x based on testing results. I believe now it should actually work for all GM10x and GM20x. Further, GP10x should be very easy to add, but without someone to actually test I didn't want to claim support for it. Ilia Mirkin (7): exa: add GM10x acceleration support hwdefs: update

[PATCH 1/2] nv50: regenerate rnndb headers
The headers hadn't been regenerated in a long time, and there were a few minor divergences. Among other things, rnndb has changed naming to G80/etc, for now I've not tackled switching that over and manually replaced the nvidia codenames back to the chip ids. However no other modifications of the headergen'd headers was done. Signed-off-by: Ilia Mirkin <imirkin at alum.mit.edu>
