Changing font in boxplots
Hi all,
I am very new to R and this might be a simple question but I have looked
everywhere you suggest before writing to you.
I am trying to change font type from san-serif to a serif (Times New
Romans) on all labels and axis of my boxplot. I have used this function in
other plots before, e.g.:
plot(residuals~lnlifespan, data=mydata, pch=psymb, font=6, xlab="ln

Ay chance to change terminal font?
Hello!
I've been looking for a way about how to change the emulated 'windows' standard terminal font now quite for a while.
I have a windows program which normally uses the standard terminal-font of Windows as the font for its 'text-output'.
If have tried to copy the 'Windows/Fonts'-folder of my original windows installation into Wines

Why does wine always use the worst font it can find?
The wine font problem is well known, every week there are users
reporting font problems on this list.
Now have this problem, too: I installed some additional fonts on my
system, now text is unreadable in wine.
Wine is obviously too stupid to decide which font to use, but why can't
it just always default to some standard X font?

wine-users digest, Vol 1 #354 - 8 msgs
There was an HL demo, downloaded from Sierra, that was a completely new
episode - more like a taste of things to come. I enjoyed playing it, even
after I had finished the full game, but was a little disappointed with the
ending of the demo. Can't complain for free, though.
I suggest you go and buy the 'battle pack' or whatever it's called - HL,

winhelp.exe - tiny, unreadable fonts (SOLVED)
The default wine help reader, winhelp.exe, seems to have only a single
font that it will display help files with. Unfortunately, this font
appears really tiny and unreadable on my 1600x1200 screen. And there
seems to be no easy way to change this font without diving in to the
source (which is what I ultimately did).
In what follows I will first describe my unsuccessful attempts to

How to change font size?
Hello!
Does anybody know how to change the font size of axis labels in the graphic
window? I found that it is possible to change font to "bold" but labels are
very tiny.
Thanks in advance,
Nick

Team Fortress 2 Server List Font
Hello all,
I'm trying to get Team Fortress 2 going and so far it's working good minus the fact the fonts for the server list are just about unreadable. I'm running on a clean ~/.wine directory and I had winetricks install: adobeair, d3dx9, corefonts, unifont, vcrun2005, allfonts, flash, amd gecko.

Unusable Font after upgrading to wine 1.4 (Ubuntu 12.04)
Hello,
today I upgraded my system from Kubuntu 11.04 to 12.04 and installed wine 1.4.
Now, most my Windows apps (e.g. the "configure wine" program) have ugly, almost unreadable fonts
TTF-Fonts are installed and working properly when explicitly chosen, but all the "standard" fonts (like for menus, window titles and so on) are bold, grainy and not anti aliased.
I don't know

Font control under Wine
I'm wondering if there is a way to control the fonts with wine. I'm trying
to run a game called Stars! under Wine. The first release was the RPM that
came bundled with Mandrake 7.2. That worked fine and the fonts seemed
mostly normal (occasional graphic glitches but nothing that couldn't be
read) but whenever the program ended, it hung and popped up a debug dialog
and would

strange fonts in flight simulator 98 and wine 1.0
I installed flight simulator 98 using wine 1.0 and have fonts that look like chess pieces and zeros. The pull down menus are ok, but the dialog boxes are unreadable. I have the *.ttf files installed in wine. Do I need to install directx from the flight simulator cd into wine? Do I need a specific font file or do I need set the path to the font file?
