RAID readonly before final shutdown
Hi,
The entire OS I am using is running on software RAID-1. Before killing
the power of the UPS, I issue:
/sbin/mdadm --readonly $RAIDDEV
on all the RAID devices I have.
This, however, does not seem to be enough, and when i power the system
back on, the RAID arrays are not clean, and a long syncing starts. A
last step is missing; something like marking the arrays that they are
clean. I see this

the problem is:

4.0 stopped working after updating xubuntu 13.04
Hi
I got some strange issues on my samba4.0.1 install yesterday. It
happened a while after updating my xubuntu server 13.04 not 13.10.
Everything seems to be working fine except shares. Kerberos
authentication seem to function properly, also DNS works fine but shares
seem semi-broken.
I can't mount any shares on my Windows box, including netlogon,
profiles. I have one share that is

Wine just won't work! Baffled.
I just compiled and installed Wine 20010216 snapshot. Compiles fine,
installs fine. I set up my configuration to use my Windows install, but
when I try to run something, I get messages similar to this:

wine: error while loading shared libraries: libntdll.so
I had an old version which I removed by the "remove all" or sth method. I
think I may have done a mistake when I was removing and I get the following
message but nothing else, it is an unstripped version:
wine: error while loading shared libraries: libntdll.so: cannot open shared
object file: No such file or directory.
Please let me know which is the normal way to recover since

Problem w/ MySQL update from perl AGI script
I've been trying to get a basic 5 question IVR survey working in an AGI script,
and am having trouble with the SQL portion not updating the table. When I take
out all the AGI references, and run just the perl script, the table updates
with no problem(DBname, username, password have been substituted in this example
for the actual values):

Perl Script for pulling information from a mysql database
Here''s the script. I would have posted it to a website, but I figure
this''ll be better so it is always on the list for people in the future
in case they wanted to see it.
If you have any questions about any of it, please let me know. Mike and

you need it to. :)

[LLVMdev] Phi + Select Optimization
Hi Roland,

such a phi should already be replaced by X if X dominates this basic block.
Is this not the case? Or does each X here not necessary represent the same
value?

How do I stop the guest account printing?
Hi there.
I've had Samba running fo a while now on a machine that we use as a shared
file store. Not everyone who uses it has an account on the linux machine,
so it's setup with "security = share" to allow guest access to some of the
shares. But I've now attached a printer that I dont want guest access to.
This might be something really simple that I'm missing, but I

Hi all,
I have kubuntu running samba as a file server, I have my wifes kubuntu machine
as a cllient and my works XP machine as a client. All is well and has worked
great for some time.
I decided to add a samba printer for XP. I modified smb.conf, I can now see
the printer on XP, I installed the printer driver 'have disk' all AOK then I
get a message from XP in what looks like a

AGI Module
Hey all,
I'm sorry to bother you with something so trivial, but I seem to
be having an issue with the Asterisk::AGI module. I am a relative
newbie with Perl so it could be a stupid syntax mistake that I missed.
It seems when I try to execute either the stream_file or the get_data
subs nothing is actually done. It doesn't seem to stream the files, but
on the console it says it played the

DISA and AGI: authenticate by caller ID?
I'm having trouble getting an AGI exec command to spawn app_disa. The
script executes properly, but does not spawn DISA. The CLI gives no helpful
clues. Am I doing the exec incorrectly?
I want to have a way to authenticate callers to the extension by Caller
ID... if their caller ID is in my database and set to active, they can call
out. [like a calling card but auth'd by CID instead

[LLVMdev] Phi + Select Optimization
Hi all,
I've just written a small enhancement to SimplifyPHINode.
The idea is the following:
If we have this:
a = phi(X, X, undef, undef, X, undef)
X = select cond, sth, a
or this:
a = phi(X, X, undef, undef, X, undef)
X = select cond, a, sth
we can replace the phi by 'a' and the select by 'sth'.
Why does this work?
Well, in those cases where control-flow happens to

Wine release 20010216
This is release 20010216 of Wine, a free implementation of Windows on

and unimplemented features. Most applications still do not work
correctly.
Patches should be submitted to "wine-patches@winehq.com". Please don't
