Hello,
I tried to run Matlab (version 6.0.0.88 Release 12, Win98) on
my Redhat 7.0 machine using codeweavers-wine version 20010112.
Wine seems to work fine when I tested some simple Windows
applications: notepad, freeceel, wordpad, calculator...
Word and Excel however only show the welcome window and crash
immediately afterwards before the real Word/Excel-window should
appear.

Mathematica Notebook Frontend
Hi,
I need some help getting the Frontend to work - MathKernel.exe is
working but when I try wine Mathematica.exe I get a lot of error
messages - I'm using Mathematica Version 4.0 and wine20010824. At the
end of the post there is the complete message I get from wine.

newbie
I installed wine, mainly to run MS-Office, Corel WP, corel Draw end
CorelVentura
But none of these programs work (smaller programs do work) (On the Corel
website
I read all corel programs should work in wine)
Where can i find a list of errors and patches (To avoid sending useless
mails to this newsgroup)?

Page Fault With Freetype calls
I have this PC app that converts output to PDF using PDF-Tools (From
Tracker Software).
The long and the short of it is that it makes some calls into the gdi
libraries to render the fonts in the resultant PDF, which causes a
segfault somewhere in some libc calls.
If I turn off client font rendering, the process completes, and I get
a bunch of PDFs that have lines drawn, but no text on

Thousands of "fixme:bitblt:MaskBlt", when running Scifinder
Hello!
I'm trying to run somthing called Scifinder, and the program is performing
quite well. The only problem is that all the buttons in the program have
no icons (they are all blank), and this makes it a bit difficult to use...
When I use the the program, I get thousands of the error messages below.
I suppose the messages has got something to do with the missing icons.
Any suggestions on

Can someone help me with Font problem i am having?
Our company is thinking of switching windows to linux workstations. Our
main accounting/inventory program is running under sco Unix. And because
this inventory/accounting program took control over the SCO Unix termcap
and only a few telnet program will work correctly due to the fuction

I just can't seem to get this working... I've moved a number of OS

FIXME's and missing buttons
Hey there. I am running a program call SciFinder Scholar (it searches
research journal pub databases) under codeweavers wine preview 4.
Program runs pretty well EXCEPT
all of the toolbar buttons are blank.
and there are a fair number of the following errors

Can't get RedAlert working
I've been trying to get RedAlert working under wine for about a month now.
I start wine from an xterm with:
$ wine /WIN95/westwood/redalert/ra95.exe 2>&1 | tee wine.out ;
and get the following in wine.out:

mirc won't work
Hi I'm having problems running mIRC in wine, when I click the connect
button my box just beeps 2 times and that's it
I'm running wine without a windowz installation so maybe I need some
native dll's?

Cold Fusion Studio
Hi... I am new to Wine... so I went from running to Solitaire to Running
ColdFusion studio grin. I installed CFS by running the setup from CD
using wine. All seemed to go OK, but when I try to run the application I
get this error....

and it bombs out... any ideas ?? Help ??

FIXME??? How??
I got this error message, and I do not know how to fix it, or is it worth
to bother at all, because otherwise wine is running:(((

Samba shares becoming inactive after a while
When a user is not using a samba share, after a while they become
"inactive". When a user wants to access the share again, it takes an
irritating long time before they get access again. The (windows)
application that does the accessing is not responding during that
