Hi Erik,
thanks for the solution provided.
I tried that but unfortunately it spits out this error message:

How winbindd is working on DC/member? It ignores rfc2703 on DC, and not showing all users on member server... Where is a error?
Hi all,
Still looking for the best way to achieve consistent GID/UID mapping
on Linux servers/clients, in heterogeneous environment (Linux,
Windows, CIFS, NFS).
Current problems with UID/GID resolution prevents from using Samba4 in
environment with backups (where data may be restored on another
server) and mixed Linux/Windows workstations.
Just recently installed fresh Samba 4.1.0 on the server

Currently 90% of my servers are virtual machines under Xen. I have many
valid IP networks and all Hypervisors are configured in bridge mode, to
simplify. We have 3 VMWare ESX Hypervisor also in bridge mode.
Some networks are exclusive to certain

ipconfig problem if multiple devices are up
Hi,
it seems that ipconfig has a problem if multiple devices are up and
connected to the same network. It seems that it uses the wrong
socket/device index to compare it to incoming packet. To be more
precise, the packet gets discarded in do_pkt_recv as the ifindex from
state differs always from the incoming packet
To reproduce create two tap devices:
$ sudo tunctl -u uli -t tap0

fontconfig-2.1.93 considered more harmful
There is an ongoing thread "fontconfig-2.1.92 considered harmful" on -CURRENT.
Because I have not moved to -CURRENT, I post this to -STABLE.
Since I upgraded to fontconfig-2.1.93 (on Apr 14) a lot of ports start to
complain a lot of "Cannot fork: Resource temporarily unavailable" errors.
What resource ? I inserted top into my ports build script to notice that

[PATCH libldm 00/12] New API: an ability to retrieve created device-mapper devices back after they have been created.
The main goal of these patch series is to implement a new API that allows to retrieve created device-mapper devices for volumes and partitions back after they have been created.
As part of this patch:
- required libdevmapper version was bumped to 1.02. I think it is safe because it was released more then 10 years ago;
- newer version of libdevmapper allowed to simplify code base a little bit;

Setting up CUPS for Samba on 390
I've scoured the newsgroups and asked MANY people, does anyone out there
have any ideas ?
I'm new to the CUPS arena and I'm trying to figure out what to do from
the separate docs. I'm using SLES7 (2.4.7 kernel). The files I'm using

No. That's the official way how to drive the "guest-fsfreeze-freeze"
agent command via libvirt, thus you must have the guest agent the same
way as you used it before.
Using qemu-agent-command is a
