When I hang-up the system, then the screem is black. But the power light is brightness. and the disk light is bright sometimes. When I press any key, the screem is still black. just to follow on my earlier post, i have pointers to a couple commercial C/W manuals for RHEL administration, but both of them use an entire chapter discussing virtualization using Xen. i'm under the impression that RH is firmly in the KVM camp (at least for now), and that learning Xen on red hat/centos wouldn't be as useful as learning KVM. thoughts? rday --

Hello Everyone I'm looking into the best way to have locked version repos for my CentOS systems. The systems are all set up with Chef and have a couple different recopies/roles. I'd like to have locked version repos for each role with tested RPMs. Then perhaps quarterly apply any updates. It would be nice to have something showing which updates are available for these locked repos.

I realize this is a CentOS mailing list but because it is based directly on RHEL, I would assume there are a few individuals who frequent the list that have passed the RHCE exam. I plan on taking the exam this March and was wondering if there are any tips you RHCEs out there could provide that may help me. Thanks! Hello, I have an interrupt conflict between a two port pci-e serial card and the onboard ethernet controllers in a PowerEdge 850. I'm running kernel 2.6.18-194.26.1.el5PAE with bios revision A04.
