Updating gfortran in CentOS 5.4?
We're finding that several of the packages we need don't compile using the version 4.1.2 of gfortran that comes with CentOS 5.4. So, I've built the latest version of gfortran (e.g. 4.4.2) but I've done it so that all the new version's files go in /share/apps/gnu so that they don't interfere with the standard gcc distribution (building gfortran requires building some parts

R-release.diff + R-1.9 -> success on Fedora Core 2, R RPM available; ess-emacs-5.1.20 also available
Dear Everybody: I have Fedora Core 2 and R-1.9.0 does not build "out of the box". After applying the daily patch file R-release.diff, I find it does build and I've made RPMS and SRPM. In case you want to save yourself a recompile, you can find Fedora Core RPMs in here: http://lark.cc.ku.edu/~pauljohn/software/R These are based on the standard R distribution SPEC file, only

Asterisk 1.4.24 DUNDi CLI commands not found
Are there DUNDi CLI commands for Asterisk 1.4? I have searched google and I only see the dundi commands in Asterisk 1.6, although I see reference to them in older version's of Asterisk such as Asterisk 1.4 here: http://www.asteriskguru.com/tutorials/cli_cmd_14.html. When I view the CLI commands through help I don't see any of the dundi commands and there are errors when I run a command

[LLVMdev] Compiling issues: undefined reference to `.Lline_table_start1'
What do you mean by test case please ? Using the following commands to compile mcf program can reproduce such issue all the time. Probably it is my version's problem. Because I checked out 3.3version from SVN before published. Could you tell me where Manman modified ? I cannot port to new version very quickly after changing it a lot already. SAS "/slice" and "/diff" equivalent? - Automated multiple comparisons in nlme package?
R users, What is the equivalent of SAS " '/diff' and '/slice'" in R ? sorting the VAR model output according to variable names??
I was wondering if one can have the coefficients of VAR model sorted according to variable names rather than lags. If you notice below, the output is sorted according to lags. >VAR(cbind(fossil,labour),p=2,type="const") VAR Estimation Results: ======================= Estimated coefficients for equation fossil: =========================================== Call: fossil = fossil.l1
